Okay everyone please bear with me...I am new at this..but as I am reading I see alot of people going at the same time...we are going July 6-13.

Now for all my questions...there are 7 of us going 5 adults and 2 very small children...ages 1 and 2.

We are staying at the Quality Suites Maingate East...has anyone stayed there???? any feedback????

Also we are traveling with my Mother-in-law who has Parkinson's and won't be going to the parks much...she will be staying by the pool with my father-in-law most of the time. However I would like her to see something magical...any suggestions?

I am also trying desperately to get a reservation for the Cinderella breakfast however if we end up not getting one...any suggestions on other character meals to surprise my daughter with?

I guess thats enough for now.

Thanks so much
Tiffany

Can't answer your hotel question but....

How about Illuminations for your mother in law. Or MK fireworks. You could take her to see the shows at MGM.

If you miss out on Cindy's breakfast (and that would be a sad thing) You could do Chef Mickey's at the contemporary or I beleive, Pooh is at 1900 fare in GF.

By the way, we did dinner at CM and had a blast! Your Mother in law might like that. She'd get to see the magic in your child's eyes!

I bet she would enjoy World Showcase. Maybe you can get her a wheelchair, so so does not have to walk so much. I bet she would like seeing all the different countries. Then, don't miss Tapestry of Dreams parade and Illuminations.

1900 Park Fare is a nice alternative to Cindys. Also, Crystal Palace with the Pooh characters is a lot of fun. (did I read that it was closed? It was open two weeks ago...check out restaraunt board for details).

If you can't get Cindy's for breakfast, try getting it for lunch or dinner. If you time it right for dinner you could see the fireworks and then do a few of the near by rides such as Small world or Peter Pan. Don't forget if she does do the parks she can get a Guest Assistant card for any special needs she may have. Have a blast.

Disnee Dad Says........................... This what I would do about Cindy's. Try again three days before the desired date at 6:55 am, if anyone has canceled you may get in. The other option is be there before the park opens, at rope drop head straight for the castle, see if they can work you in. People tend to cancel early ressies because they think they are vacation!! In 1999, we were able to get 8:30 even though we already had 10:10 so we changed. I'm sure someone got our 10:10's!!
