I was wondering if anyone was booked for free dining Aug 16-Oct 3 and switched to a later time with one of the new pins?
Was it a better deal?
I'm particularly interested in what kind of deal you got if you are at a value resort.
Thanks.

If you do receive a FD pin for a later time, it isn't really the same as what is open to the public. I received one for Oct and Nov, but at a Value resort, they are only giving the QS plan. You have to stay in a Moderate to get the regular dining plan.

I did, we changed our trip 3 adults Poly Garden View 10/3-10/9.
We were doing free dining but called about the 4/3 pin I got, we were able to book it for 6 nights and will save an additional $175. If you're a family that could go without the DDP, your savings would be even larger, we love the convenience of it. I think all in total we're saving about $1000 off rack rate.

Had POR on bounceback with FREE DINE, THEN I got a pin for FREE DINE, I would not have booked, but with that PIN I was able to book additional rooms for other family members with FREE DINE, THEN they came out with public free dine, just crazy,
FIRST PIN and it was a waste :confused3 :rotfl2:
