Starting this thread...

We have 9 more months to go!!! Our baby will just turn one this trip & I am excited for his 1st trip! I am curious to see what discount offer there will be for this month. We are staying at CR (DH's choice) & will be eating at Chef Mickey's for the 1st time.

I am also planning for our trip February 27 to March 9, 2010. I am a big planner and already reading reviews of restaurants, trying to decide where to make our reservations. I've never tried Chef Mickey's but I am thinking about booking it this time. My children are 9 years old, twins. This will be their 4th trip to disney. I always look forward to getting away from the cold, snowy winters and enjoying some Florida sun! :goodvibes
I am also hoping for a great discount code, the last couple of years there have been some good ones. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I have also been deciding on which ADRs to make. We bring our own food for breakfast most mornings, but we will do Chef Mickeys our last morning. Then we eat 1 CS & 1 TS per day. We usually do 1 WS restaurant when at Epcot & I am deciding between Italy & France this time. I need to find other TS restaurants to go to. My fav is Narcoossee's, but DH doesn't want to eat there this time. I am also going to sign my older DS up for the cooking class at GF. He loves to cook, so I think he'll enjoy this.
Plus, there will be new restaurants by the time we go, like the new AKL one & Boardwalk one.

Hey I am going Feb 27, 2010 too!!! I am already booked at the Pop Century for 7 nights! I am excited as this will be my first time on the resort!

I have a travel agent so she is on the lookout for codes etc for me. I am also researching where to eat as I plan on getting the DxDDP and want to do a few 2 TS Credit Meals while there. I am travelling alone by the way! ::cool1:

Where in Canada are you from? I am in Brantford Ontario, hour from Toronto. Maybe we could meet up down there!

Less than 300 days to go!:cool1:

I also will down there in February from Feb 11 - 27th. We are getting married at the WP (hopefully Feb 13).. Spending a few days at the parks and then taking a 7 day Western Carribbean cruise the 20 - 27th for our Disneymoon. :)

We are heading down Feb 21 - Mar 3, staying off site. It will be our second trip and we are looking forward to it :) It will be my Sister in law and her fam's first trip so it will be exciting to share the world with them. Hopefully they have done some research as we are getting together next month to discuss things again.
So far we are planning on hitting the Dino restaurant at DTD and the kids are wanting to do the Pirate Cruise, although I have not yet figured out which resort to go out of.
So excited to see that we are in the 9 months and counting!!!

We are also planning our trip for Feb 26 - March 3. We will be staying at POR. I am so excited to start figuring out the new stuff we are going to do. I'm thinking about going to Hoop Dee Doo Revue. A co-worker of mine said it is so much fun. Here's to 284 days to go

We will be there from February 8th to the 15th to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We will, of course, be bringing our 7 year old daughter with us to enjoy the magic! This will be her second trip. We are still deciding on the resort

So I am planning on going in feb as well. I hate to ask a newbie question here but what the heck, someone probably has the same question, right?

So Ihave tried to book on line for our trip but they will not allow me to book anything past November. Do I have to call Disney Destinations and if so will they allow me to book a room? can I book the entire vacation now including the park tickets and a dining plan? Help!

If you're trying to book in February, the rates dont come out until August. If you wanted to secure your room you can call the Disney number and you'll need (I believe) one night's deposit. Then when the packages come out in August you can call and they will make the changes. HTH!

well I did it. I booked a garden room at the Poly for February. I will call back in August for the rates!

A little background on this trip: we just came back from a trip on May 24th. We were supposed to be there for 11 nights but three nights before we are to leave, we got a terrible, terrible call from home that my grandfather had a cardiac arrest and was in the hospital. We all rushed home (my parents, my brother and his fiance and my husband) to be near his side and sadly he died three days later.

Unfortunately we will always remember the vacation as the one where grandpa died.

So I am planning another trip where we are staying at the place where I went when I was 8 years old with my grandpa and grandma! it will be a very special trip indeed! We will also be celebrating my husbands 35th birthday!

Really looking forward to this trip!

We are going Feb5-13 for my daughter's 6th birthday on the 12th.

This will be our 3rd trip in 4 years.

Some of our favorite TS restaurants include Chef Mickey's, Tony's Town Square, and the Biergarten. This year we are adding Le Cellier, Prime Time 50s,
the Poly Luau, and CRT on the 12th.

We have room only reservations at the CR right now, but we will change them over to a MYW package

We stayed at CR last December and LOVED it.

so I just got a receipt in the mail for the room only booking that I made for our trip in Feb.

So when the rates come out in August, do you think that there will be a deal offered for Feb? Something like the 4 for 3 thing? Maybe free dining? What do you all think?

We are going Feb 6th through the 13th and are actually in the process of booking our off site home. (We stayed there last year and loved it)

Why do I have a feeling this will be the longest 7 months, 3 weeks ever! LOL

I am planning to go from Feb 21-28. I'll be celebrating my 40th birthday a couple days late (it's the 15) I just don't want to be there for the Valentine's crowd and president's day crowd.
I am bringing both my DD's and my grandson. It will be his first, he'll be 17m. Not really sure where yet. It will depend on what special they may have going. If there is a good special then either back to POR or POFQ, but my youngest said she wants to try CBR if we do a mod. If there isn't a good deal I am just going with Pop or ASMovie. It doesn't matter too much as I know we will just be sleeping there, and all our fun time will be at the parks.
I do know one thing for sure we will be doing the DDP.:cool1:

Hi All! I had to join the thread since we finally decided we will go back in February! We had to cancel our trip this past February and it was not an easy thing to do! We are going to be daring and going Feb 13-19th. We usually go the week before but DH requested not to go over SuperBowl weekend :rolleyes1 and this will be my DD's first year in preschool and I think she will enjoy celebrating Valentine's day at school. Anywho...I'm a little nervous about President's Day/Valentine's Day but I figure we'll be at Disney and that is all that matters! We are DVC so I can't book our ressie until later this month but fingers crossed we can get AKV :yay:

well I can't believe my luck. I was just told that my work is having a conference in September at the Yacht and Beach for a week, then I will go Feb 18-23, AND THEN I am going back again 3 weeks later for 5 days!

I was there with my family last May. Unfortunately we had to cut our vacation short due to the death of my 89 year old grandfather. My grandmother is doing ok but we all thought that we would take a family trip to Disney, a place he dearly loved and took us when we were kids. So this trip was just planned during my cousin's Spring Break week in March. I am really looking forward to all three trips. Crazy!

First time staying at a DVC. I'll be going with my friend's family who go this week just about every year for my friend's dad's birthday. Last I heard we were staying at the Beach Club but I should know for sure in the next week or so!

I've been lurking the boards for a month or so now, planning our February 2010 trip. Now I know where the rest of the 2/2010 peeps are!

This will be trip #2 for 11-year old DS and first for 5-year old ODS (other DS).
DW and I used to be cast members back in the 1990's so we can't wait to get back and see all the changes. I'm not sure whether we'll be excited to see all the new stuff or disappointed it's not going to be like we remember.

Still waiting on rates to decide on a resort. Anyone ever rent DVC points?

Then maybe it won't be busy when we are down there and we won't have to wait long for things. ;)

I'm so happy to say the disney tickets are bought!!! :dance3:

Between that, having our house booked and van rental booked (can change it if prices go down, but at least I'm locked in on this price right now) it's going to take forever for February to get here!

We are in a pickle! We usually go February during Spring Break and were there this year. However, we are toying with the idea of going again this year in December to see Disney in all of its Christmas glory. If we do that, we may put off our Feb. trip (Feb. and Nov. are our favorite times to go) and go early April. We have never been when it is a little warmer, so our kids might enjoy the water parks. It is hard for me to wander away from traditions, so who knows what will happen!!! Besides---I love the weather in Feb. and Nov.!!!!

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I worked at Disneyland for 6 years! I worked in Adventureland/Frontierland in Merchandise. Was a shift supervisor and then went into Mgmt in Restaurants for my last 2 years I was there.

I know I'm hoping for low crowds, but I'll be there during President's Weekend and it's always very busy. Luckily that comes at the end of the trip so I can just relax.

Congrats on having so much booked!:thumbsup2

I've gone in Dec, Jan, Feb, June, Aug, Sept, Oct. I will say late Jan/early Feb are my favorite times to go. In 08 I was able to go to Typhoon Lagoon 2x and Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club 2x as well...It's a gamble with the weather, but if you're flexible you can adjust your touring to the weather. Typhoon Lagoon both days I went was completely empty. No one thinks to go to the waterparks during the winter even though it's warm.

Loaded questions! You should book when the 2010 prices come out in late August/Early September. At least that's when they usually come out. Look at this site or mousesavers dot com for codes that can be used to get you some discounts. Those will probably start showing up in late October.

As far as must do and worth miss and timelines....well..you can find most of the info out here on the DIS, but if you have specific questions, fire away.

Where did you work when you were a CM? Just curious! I love hearing about the CM's jobs!

Betsy: Can't PM you yet, still not enough posts to my name...haven't had much time to hit the boards recently, but did just pay my DEPOSIT on our February trip!

I have been deciding betw ADRs & think I have 3 for sure ADRs. We will do Calif Grill, Biergarten, & Chef Mickeys. Not sure if we'll do more. I think we'll use CS more often w/a 1 yr old so we can be more flexible w/our schedule depending on his mood. Looking forward to Nov when the Feb schedule comes out & I can make my ADRs!!!!

We are going to be in Disney from Feb 5th to the 14th. It is a first trip for me and my two children. My husband has not been in fifteen years. We are staying at All Star Movies.

We are leaving on the 4th and driving to Titusville. There is currently a space shuttle launch scheduled for the 4th at 6:30 in the morning so we are hoping it is delayed by a day and we will be able to see it. Just a heads up for those who will be there at this time.

We are going from January 29-February 6 and cannot wait! Staying at ASSp even though it's just DH & I for the first time ever! We are so looking forward to experiencing WDW together. Our kids are grown and we took a big family vacation last November with them knowing with our youngest DD starting college, we wouldn't get back down as a family for a few years and our oldest DD got married last year.

It's about an hour to hour and 1/2 drive from WDW and if you know when it's going to launch, you can usually see it from WDW.

NO and actually my biggest reason for picking it. Usually we monorail from SOG Or the Poly into Epcot to spend the evenings sampling ;) around the world or walking the boardwalk... that really sealed it for me.

I'm hoping we're going to love it as much as I think we are!! :yay:

The greatest thing, if you love Epcot, is being able to pop into the park for an hour or two w/o having to take one form of transportation! Epcot really feels like an extension of your resort....

It's about a 10 minute brisk walk from the Dolphin and about 15 minutes if you take a more leisurely approach. You can also take the Friendship Boats, but walking is faster.

Count me in. Going February 1-11th at... somewhere. Currently booked at POP as a placeholder but looking for some decent discounts or even better yet buy 4 get 3 and then I'd move up to the Poly.

I've never been this time of year, but it's the only time I can use 2009's vacations as work has been crazy and I'd rather not just forfit them. How are crowd levels and park hours?

Crowd levels are low. However February 5-7th, DHS hosts the National High School Cheerleading Competition. They also use DHS as a transportation hub to and from the Wide World of Sports. When you are planning try and avoid DHS on Fri/Sat/Sun.

Park hours vary, but most parks close early. AK usually by 5. DHS by 7. MK by 8 and Epcot at 9. Check the historical hours here on the DIS and it'll give you a rough idea of what to expect.

I've been 5 times late Jan/early Feb, it's a great time to go.

Hey Jordan,

I am listed but have actually changed my dates to 1/31-2/7!!!

I remember the last time I went to WDW the dancers were there, along with cheerleaders and it was President's Day weekend.. TOTAL madness, everywhere. I assume alot of it was President's Day though..

I am avoiding DHS that weekend, but I wonder, will I notice much of an increase in crowds at the other parks that weekend do you think? I am thinking about going to Universal or something possibly.

I don't think the other parks will be that bad. People save up their vacation time for President's Weekend. Of course, if WDW continues to run some sort of promotional discounts to get people to stay on property that might change.

Other than DHS, I wouldn't worry too much about the other parks.

By the way, though I know the dancers will be there from UDA Feb 5-7 but from what I can tell not the cheerleaders.

We have a 4-day Disney cruise booked for Feb 14-18. We were thinking of staying at WDW for 3 days prior to the cruise, and maybe 3 days after the cruise, if we can get a good room discount. We'd probably stay in two different resorts.

I've never booked a split stay before.

When should we book this? Can we book now and apply any discounts that may be offered later? Should I wait to see what discounts are offered?

Would it be cheaper to book the first three nights as a package stay with 7-day park tickets (instead of booking two separate packages)?

Thanks for any assistance!

I'll update the list.

There is no beating the Poly and the GF for convenience to the MK.

That said, I LOVE the Beach Club. It may not have the grand lobby of the GF or the restaurants like either the GF or Poly. It does have the advantage of being very close to 2 theme parks. It's a short boat ride away from DHS and a very short walk to Epcot.....

Did someone say cocktail?;) If you read my PTR, you'll see I'm on the wagon temporarily.

You are absolutely right about not booking 2 packages and I do think you might be better off doing room only for both.....although now I don't think there's that much difference between the package and room only any more.

I'm pushing for the second resort stay after the cruise, because there is little difference between three-day park tickets and seven-day park tickets.

Plus, I think that just three days in the parks is much too short (even though we did just go in August).

We're going to WDW January 30th through February 6th.

This will be our first EVER trip to WDW!

We're sooo excited!!

We're not sure quite where we're staying, although we're leaning heavily toward Windsor Hills because there are 6 of us and the prices to stay in the resort were just eye-popping!! :scared1: Anyway, we will probably make the reservations this coming week!

We're planning on hitting all 4 Disney parks, as well as Sea World.

We're really looking forward to it! Our 8yr old daughter has autism and I've heard so many nice things about vacationing in Disney with children on the spectrum.

I just booked Boardwalk Villas 1BR for February 5 through 12th. This is going to be a surprise trip for the kids. We're going to tell them the night before we leave, so they have the chance to pack special items for the trip.

We went once in January 09 and once in August 09. We can't wait to get back to the nice cool weather of the winter at WDW :thumbsup2

Ever since we stayed at the Yacht Club, we have wanted to go back to the Epcot resorts area. Originally we planned to go Beach Club Villas, but they didn't have any available with the AAA discount, so we're going Boardwalk. We are SO excited!!

Looking forward to chatting with you all about our trips.

This is my first post! :)

Kelly

Congrats! If you go to one of the forums here on Disabilities you may get some GREAT info on traveling to WDW with Children with autism...:thumbsup2

We'll be there the week of Feb 13-20. The dreaded President's Week and Mardi Gras combination. Oh well, we have realistic expectations of the crowds and have chosen 8-10 things we really want to do in each park. It will be very different from our last visit - mid-November 2007 and most things were walk-on.

We're staying off-site, so I'm glad I found this thread.

We went this same week in Feb in 2008 and I found that most of the crowd were from Brazil and Louisiana (GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!). They were all escaping the influx of tourism in their areas due to Mardi Gras and Carnival. It was busy but I found that when we went in March 2009 during spring break, the crowds were much larger. Not only was it spring break time, but apparently, there was a cheer competition at WWoS and there were high school show choirs at the parks to perform. There were ALOT of very rude teenagers there during that time and I am sorry to say that my DD8 and DS4 heard alot of foul language standing in the lines for rides. I would much rather be there during Prez day week. Even though the crowds are large, the majority of it is families that just want to have a good time. The weather was nice and mild and there was very little rain. I hope everyone enjoys their trip and I hope to run into some DIS-ers there!!!

Just as an FYI the 12-14th there will be a High School Cheerleaders Competition as WWoS and DHS. Try to stay away from DHS on the first few days of your visit.

Try going at the beginning of Feb. like the 1st through the 13th. Beginning Fer12th, it starts getting busy for President's Weekend. I saw someone mention Mardi Gras. Louisiana has a holiday around Fat Tuesday and they all leave town to escape the madness and head to WDW. It happens to be the same week as President's Week-Feb 14th-Feb21st. NYC city school also have that week off for winter break. Try and avoid that week for sure.

Shouldn't we start talking about DIS meets...?:thumbsup2

When I first started on the DIS I was so NOT into meeting up with folks. However, I met some GREAT people on my last trip who are now good friends.

I'd be willing to set one or two up. Even if it's just one or two of us having a beer or just meeting and saying hi!

I'm staying at Pop Feb 6th-Feb14th and then moving to Animal Kingdom Villas from Feb 14th-Feb 18th.

Well I'm the only one from the trip that I know is on DIS (I'm tagging along on a family vacation of a friend), but if it works out maybe I can convince my friend to meet up with people. We don't have many details about our trip planned yet though...

Oct. 27th is less than a month away and quickly approaching...
What ADR's are people planning? So far I know we'll try for:
CRT
California Grill (for first night at CR to watch wishes :) )

I'm at a loss for anything else so far.
If there's any TS restaurant you really enjoy, I'd love a recommendation. We almost always eat either QS or back at our offsite resort for flexibility's sake, but we would like to try some of the great restaurants WDW has to offer this time. TIA!

Here's the ADR plan today (it could change 100 times before the 27th):

The Wave
California Grill
Chef Mickey's
Ohana
Prime Time
Teppan Edo
Coral Reef

For the solo part of my trip:

Sanaa
Tusker House
Kouzzina

Here's where we've eaten that we usually like:

Teppan Edo
Chefs de France
Brown Derby
Prime Time
Flying Fish
Jiko
California Grill
Le Cellier
ESPN Club

We LOVE Teppan Edo and The Rose and Crown in EPCOT. In HS, we always enjoy the 50's Primetime and The Brown Derby....In MK we like The Plaza for a really good sandwich at lunch and then Tony's Town Square for dinner...and Yak and Yetis in AK was also really good. My DH had the ribs there and they were really good. Tusker House in the AK is also really good. Go at breakfast!!! We also like the Rainforest Cafe and TRex Cafe...the food at these are good, but we mostly go becasue our kids just love the atmosphere....ENJOY!!

So far we got:

Le Cellier (friend's dad Birthday dinner and my fav restaurant!)
Yak and Yeti
Sci-Fi Dine-In
One of the restaurants in Paris
Liberty Tree Tavern

Except for Le Cellier it'll be my first time eating at any of these places.

I had to change one of my reservations. Instead of staying at OKW 2/14/-17 I will be staying at SSR instead. I will still be moving to the AKV on the 17th and leaving on the 19th. Still hoping for AKV for the entire stay.

I don't think DHS is going to be easy to avoid that week especially if Fantasmic is only being shown 2xs that weeks unless they change the schedule.

No plans on dining yet but I think my son wants to go to Sci Fi. We missed it in August and went to Hollywood and Vine. Personally I liked H&V better.
Boma of course, didnt ask him if he wanted to do any character meals. He doesnt know we are going yet. Thinks we are only going in August 2010. I think I will stick with the buffets like last time. He loves to eat.

Just to let you know....If you make an ADR for the Rose and Crown, make it a late dinner for about 715 or 730. You can request a patio seat, but they can't always accomodate that....But if you go around these times and enjoy a nice meal, you can catch a wonderful view of Illuminations from this restraunt....Even if you have a seat inside, they have a special area roped off for their patrons ONLY to stand outside and watch the show right on the water...it is a veiw that you cant beat and much better than staking out a seat for 2 hours prior to the show....just a suggestion! Hope you guys have fun!!

I've been 5x at this time of year and it's run the gamut. in 08 it was hot most of the time, but near the end of the week it was cold and rainy. By cold, I mean 50's or 40's in the evening....

So what kind of planning is everyone doing now for your February trip……Since we cannot make ADR’s and the Calendar isn’t out yet. I’m in limbo:lmao:. How about everyone else?

Right now my DW and I are looking at restaurants to make ADR's at when the 27th rolls around. Also been looking for stuff to do while we are there. Found the BBB which I think my DD4 will love, especially the night we eat at Askerhaus.

I've also been reading up on pin trading since I think I want to get in that while we are there.

I have been deciding which restaurants we'll try. Also marking the rides in my UG book that the boys can go on. I have been making my own touring plans for each park based on the rides/shows that are not to be missed for my boys. I have been going back & forth on what to do the day we leave. We normally have an earlier flight, but this time we have more time.

We booked the QSDP, so don't expect to need too many ADR's. I would like to go to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and maybe Primetime or SciFi. But with a DS5 and DS11, we don't expect them to sit still long enough for table service nor to eat that much. A good salad at Cosmic Ray's or Sunshine Season will be good enough for us.

Ticket wise, we have some left over hoppers we're planning to use, so we booked a 2-day base ticket with the package. We'll do our first two days at MK and EC without hopping, then take Wed. off and do AK and Studios on Thursday and Friday when we can hop back to MK or EC as desired.

How's that sound?

After 14 trips here's how I do my itinerary. This has been copied from my Pre Trip Report...stop on by!!!!! Click on the link on the bottom of my post in my signature.

Chapter 35. Itinerary Draft 4.

Okay so some info about my itinerary. I put times down. This does NOT mean I try to stick to the time at all. I just like to set some guidelines for our group to follow. If we don't set guidelines, many times we don't get enough down time/nap time....at the end of our trips we often say how we wish we had more rest time or just free time. So I try and set "guidelines"

So here it is..........

Questions

For the 4 day solo part of my trip I am doing the DDP-4 CS/4 TS. On Sunday I will be finishing up my QSDP, so I won't be using any of my DDP meals that day. On my last day, I will basically be packing up and leaving, probably no meal credits used there. SOOO...I have 4 CS/4 TS to use in 3 days. I currently have CS meals at Leaning Palms, Mara, Mara. TS I have Jiko (2TS) and Kouzzina...On Wednesday I can do a CS or TS at DHS......what would you do....Here is also a list of TS on my radar:

Sanaa
Brown Derby
Boma
Flying Fish
Sci Fi
Mama Melroses
Kona Cafe....

I am not really wanting 2 TS meals at AKL/V....even though the restaurants there are highly regarded, but maybe that's the way to go....HELP.

I am also still not liking the schedule for the last 4 days. Can't put my finger on it yet....

Wow, those are specific!

Yeah...they are most just guidelines to follow...it usually ends up we get to parks later and stay later, cutting into the rest/nap time....

The good thing for me this year is I'm staying separate from the rest of the group. So if they are not up for getting to parks at rope drop, I can still do it and then meet up with them later.

Sometimes travel agents get information a day or two in advance of the general public. If someone is already using a travel agent, you might want to check with them.

I have 3 different scenarios going right now. It gets that way when you have multiple family units ( single, couple w/o kids, married with 3 kids) going with you.

Just booked a savannah view at AKL Jambo House. Our DVC contract just closed so I took a chance that I could get something for February and this is what they had available. Can't wait. It is already cold and dreary here in Ohio. I am sure by Feb. I will be more than ready for another vacation.

Wow... well your itinerary gave me some insight to my trip! Didn't realize our first night is Super Bowl Sunday or the last two days are the Cheerleading Competition. When we start seriously planning (is it bad we've not really started yet?) will have to keep that in mind!

ESPN Club on the Boardwalk is a zoo from before it opens til the game is over.

The fact that the Cheerleading competition is also over Presidents Weekend doesn't help.

Some of the competition is held at DHS and some at Wide World of Sports. DHS is also used as a transportation hub from WDW resorts to WWoS. As a result, DHS is really busy whenever there are competitions. Try and avoid DHS if you can or get there before rope drop.

I figured ESPN would be crowded that Sunday... we're planing a night at DTD though so hopefully that won't be too bad...

As for DHS I was hoping to do that earlier in the week... now I'll be sure to make sure that is NOT on our Thursday/Friday itinerary

Hi! We just booked the Grand Floridian for 2/2 to 2/9! I'm so excited because it will be our first trip as a family since our newest baby was born. (our eldest DD is 2 and the youngest DD is now 2 mons.)

I just realized, however, that we will be their Super Bowl Sunday and DH is sorta freaked about whether he will be able to see the game. It should be showing in all of the hotel rooms, correct? Also, does anybody know if there are any special events because of the Super Bowl?

Thanks!

We will be going to WDW February 5th to the 12th. As to where we are staying, I don't know! We have narrowed it down to Beach Club, Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian... Suggestions and thoughts are always welcome. We have a 3 year old, so kids activities are a plus.

Perhaps a Diser cocktail hour that week???? :goodvibes

Hey if anyone is getting together for a cocktail at Jellyrolls, I am in! We are going Feb. 10th - 17th

We're staying off-site, so I'm glad I found this thread.

oooo, I guess I didn't realize it, but it's a very busy time, huh?

So now know we're staying... Boardwalk Villas!

I have never stayed here and very excited! We have a 2 bedroom villa which will also be a new experience! Getting very excited for this trip

:cool1: We are staying at BWV as well, Feb 10-17 !

Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference between Magical Express and renting a van? Is it really worth it?:confused3

Is renting a van or Magical Express worth it? Well Magical Express is free first of all. If you are not planning on visiting Universal, Sea World or other things offsite, then renting a van is not necessary. In addition, the Boardwalk resorts are within walking distance (DHS has ferry service as well) of both DHS and Epcot so driving is again not necessary.

Add us to the list! We will be at POFQ Feb. 4-9 & I can't wait!

I can commiserate with all of you trying to work up plans for ADRs when the park hours aren't up yet. It is driving me crazy.

Originally, we didn't plan on getting the DDP but now I'm second guessing that decision. Since we only have one day for each park, I don't know if I want to take the time out to do all the TS meals on the DDP. I do want to do a few TS meals though so the QSDP is out for us. Decisions, decisions, decisions!

Glad to see so many people planning for February. I'm so excited!

nevermind. I see now if you click on "park hours" at the bottom you can bring them up. If you go to "plan" and click on the calendar they still only have until January.

I actually got them from the Theme Park Strategies Forum. Someone posted links to the UK site. Everything's posted except AK and MK....:confused3 Is the US site any better?

good luck with ADR's tomorrow everyone!
for now mine look like they're gonna be:
California Grill 2/11 - D
Chef Mickey's 2/13 - B
CRT 2/14 or 2/16 - B
The rest of our meals will be spent happily at CS restaurants and offsite. :upsidedow

Nope, I'm not getting squat! The site is down "for Maintenance" it says. I never did find hours for MK or AK either. Anyone find a parade/fireworks schedule? I needed to know when Fantasmic will be while we are there (2/4-9).

I'm not a happy camper. :(

I can't get through even with going through the travel agent booking. The phones, I haven't gotten through on that at all either. It doesn't even ring, it just says "your call did not go through". I called another number so it's not my phone line. :sad2:

About to have to get dressed to bring DS to school. Will try periodically through that and then again once I get back. So glad I didn't get up at 2am!!
