:banana::banana:Hey all!
This is the first real down time I have had and from what I am reading that may be a good thing. Apparently the pod people went into my home and took away my DH and replaced him with some shopping maniac!:lmao:
Have a great time here in Memphis~riverboat cruise was great, visited the National Civil Rights Museum (cannot explain how moved I was) and of course Beale Street.
Pics to come when I get home. :woohoo:
Glad you are having a good trip! Like MeMom said, if it had been any other week we definitely would have driven to meet up with you. Hope everyone is showing you southern hospitality!

Sounds like you're having a great time.....I cannot wait for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights to open in Winnipeg, I consider us very lucky to have this being built in our city.

Just had a second to check in and wondered how Ma's Memphis trip is going. What has she seen so far? Did she do the river cruise?
Thanks again for that Pop pool picture. It makes it very easy for me to picture us being there in just a few days. :)
Another picture that the MeMom clan will be seeing in a few short days.

We could also meet before your reservation on the 14th if that works better.

I got back around midnight last night and you guys have been busy. Some newposts and possibly adding David and Nicole to our meet. Can't wait, only a few days of work and we're gone.
For those of you whom we may meet up with, I have a favour to ask. Declan still doesn't know about our parents only trip last summer. We are still on track to let him know when he turns 30. So please, mum's the word about last summer.

I hope it works out for Nicole and David to meet up with you guys. She texted me today and said David had made tie-dyed cheesecake in celebration of the trip!
Now I know why you really scheduled to be there a week after us. You know I'd slip and tell Declan about your secret trip! I really wouldn't - I promise! :)
I picture Declan at about fourteen snooping around on the DIS just to see what all this craziness is and running across your old trip report. Then he's gonna do this :scared1:. I don't think that waiting until thirty thing is gonna work for you!
I hope you guys have an awesome time. All the magic is still there, no matter how many trips we take. We stood for a while in bumper to bumper (elbow to elbow, I guess) traffic to get to Fantasmic. We had not heard good things about the package, so we cancelled ours, since we had already had another ADR that day. The show was great, and we had good seats in the middle, but it did get warm standing in line. Even the package people stand in the front line now. It was pretty much a madhouse down at the entrance before they let us go up the hill.
The show delivered happiness, as always, but I think it's something we won't do every time from now on, at least until the girls get a little bigger. It was just too hard on them, especially Brooklynn having to stand or be held while waiting.
I hope the camera acts right on the trip. We're all looking forward to many great pictures!

I've never seen Fantasmic. The idea of waiting with a 3 year old and a 1 year old does not appeal to me at this point.
As always, Declan is adorable!!

It is an awesome show, although some little kids are scared by the fire and the snake, and some of it may be a little intense. The good guys triumph in the end, though, and the big white boat comes out with a ton of Disney characters waving and walking around on the deck.
Whenever your kids are older and you do see it, you'll want to get there early enough to get near the middle, because on the extreme sides you can't see the water screens well enough to know what they are. The stadium is huge. It holds thousands of people, but it fills up quickly on a regular basis.

This will be a quick update. Still much packing left to be done, have to go see a friend who is moving and I need to iron a few more things so...
One week from today, I wil be flashing back to "Year of a Million Dreams" as I get to have one of my Disney wishes come true- BREAKFAST WITH MARY POPPINS!
The newbies will be taking their girls to Askerhus for a Princess Breakfast.

How early did you go?
I think we got in line a little after nine, because they said they would open at ten for the ten-thirty show. We were near the front, right at the bend in the concrete seating/planter area. When they dropped the rope, people from our side, the opposite side, and the middle flooded in. Baby steps for a long way! If we had returned at ten, as the CM was telling people earlier ("Don't come back until ten. Everyone will get a seat."), we would have been on the far, far side and would not have been able to see the water screens very well.

Thanks for the news. The first time we saw the show we were at the far left end. It was much better last year when we were near the center.

Thanks to all for your well wishes. I am certain they helped as we only had 3 brief showers the entire trip. So much to tell!!! The newbies had lots of fun once they got the gist of things-newbie dad became DS' new BFF :lmao:
I hope to be able to start a TR in the next little bit. DH has now left for Canada Games training and their games begin Monday. (for our Canadian friends, watch for the team on TSN's coverage)
Some quick highlights/comments:
(1) Love, love, love POFQ!
(2) Pirates League was super cool. Our pirate's name is now James Keelkidd.
(3) Grey Goose slushies continue to be awesome and better when shared with new friends! (who knew how small this world really is?;))
(4) Declan was chosen to participate in "Flights of Wonder".
(5) Fav ride for DS this trip-Splash and RnRC
(6) Early in the trip the crowds were very manageable. We noticed an influx from Sat-Mon. this week.
Happy day all.

That's cool that Declan got to be in Flights of Wonder. We didn't get to it this summer, and it's going to be closed for our October trip. Maybe we'll see it again in December. Brooklynn loves any show with animals.

Evening all,
I guess it is time to start this report moving in the right direction.
First off, let me introduce you to our travelling companions, the First Timers.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%202%20%20August%2010/Spraguesfirstbreakfast.jpg
We have newbie dad and newbie mom in the back and Princess Ariel and Princess Aurora in the front.
Not pictured but you all know us, declansdad, pooksma, and our own little pirate Declan. By the end of the trip, he will have a new pirate name to share.
The day was pretty eventful as most of it was spent on planes or in airports. Our flight from Bangor wasn't until 11 am so we had an easy start. The kids were able to entertain themselves with their video games.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%201%20August%209/Waitingattheairport1.jpg
We also stole an idea from another trip report and made Declan a tshirt with his favourite (at this moment in time) Disney characters.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%201%20August%209/Mynewshirt.jpg
The flight left on time and we had no real problems, even the Princesses were good (they had neer flown before). Newbie mom doesn't like to fly and she made it as well. We had some food in Boston before heading for the final leg to Orlando.
The flight was on time and we all started to get that great feeling of being only a few minutes and a grocery stop away from the Happiest Place on Earth!
We arrived at POFQ, pooksma and nb mom went to pick up the info packet as we had completed the online check in earlier in the week. All our requests were granted and we had connecting rooms on the third floor of building 6. Here are some room shots before we lived in it too much.

And one of a hidden Mickey.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%201%20August%209/HiddenMickey.jpg
We hadn't eaten much all day so we all decided to grab some food in the food court, our new mugs, and head for a swim. The food court was ok but nothing fantastic and the newbies were amazed at the dining plan (they hadn't seen anything yet).
We all had fun at the pool and the kids enjoyed the slide. It is a great slide for the little ones, but not much for the older kids ;). Here are some shots from around the pool.

Stay tuned.

After a good night's sleep, we were ready to roll for our 9:15 ressie at Ohana. As has become our tradition, we took Declan's pic before leaving the room. We started doing this in case he got separated from us at any point during the day.
Ready to go:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%202%20%20August%2010/StartofDay2.jpg
We took the bus to MK with Princess Aurora asking the entire drive "When will we get there?". Then we hopped the monorail to the Poly. Breakfast was great as always. I love, love, love that pinepapple bread and ended up wrestling newbie dad for the last piece.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%202%20%20August%2010/Liloandfriends.jpg
This day was Princess Ariel's first character experience and began a trend of "I go, you hold me Daddy" for the newbs.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%202%20%20August%2010/Spragues.jpg
After breakfast, we headed to MK. As we learned our last trip, for us, we don't feel we've arrived at WDW until we get to MK. The dads made the first of many FP runs and got passes for BTMRR. While they were off to do that, we rode Dumbo. Then it was over to the Carousel, which became one of Princess Ariel's favourite rides.
Off to Philharmagic to cool down a bit. We had quite a long wait (for small ppl) for Dumbo and the temp was heating up. (Not that we complained, coming from a cool, wet July in Atlantic Canada)
The stars were ready to watch the show:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%202%20%20August%2010/Mynewshades.jpg
We used our FPs and the newbs got a kids swap. This was great for all. It allowed one to ride with us and then the other took Declan and Princess Aurora on again. While over in Frontierland, we picked up FPs for Splash as well.
Next we headed to HM.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%202%20%20August%2010/DandA.jpg
Princess Aurora decided she would ride with me. Unfortunately, in the stretching room she got scared and I had to use the exit. No big deal but I felt badly for her. (This fear would be conquored later in the trip, I am happy to say) I think the dark and the spooky voice was totally unexpected for her.
The Newbies decided they would ride IASW, which, those of you who have followed us before, know is Declan's favourite ride.:scared1::headache::mad:
We made our way to POTC. I was glad to see that Jack was still there waiting for me pirate::upsidedow:flower3: Now if they would just add Will, my life would be complete!:lmao:;)
We met up again and everyone except Princess Ariel and I rode Splash. We waited and had a great chat. She told me all about "Small Worl" . Little did I know, this would be a hint of things to come.
Pooped out, we headed back to POFQ for a swim, a nap and later, supper from the food court.

Cute pictures at 'Ohana. No food pictures? Did you think your friends would think you were weird taking pictures of their food???
You can certainly see the heat in those rosy cheeks under the Philharmagic glasses!
Good luck next week with students! Enjoy what little sanity you have left this weekend. We've been back about three weeks now, and mine has already been damaged. :) Thankfully, we are getting another teacher added, which means we will each get to lose 2-3-4 kids, and fall break is in six weeks! :cool1:
What did the girls like best from that day? What were the first impressions of the whole Disney experience from the parents?

Great start! What a pretty resort :) We are huge Phineas and Ferb fans at our house too - so I love Declan's shirt!
The resort was beautiful and very easy to get around.
I'm here, I'm here. :goodvibes
Can't wait for more!!
Welcome back.
Joining in! I'm glad you had an uneventful trip down and a fun swim to end the day!

Aurora was pretty brave right up to the time we walked through the front doors. She was teling us she knew they were all fake and they wouldn't be scary. A CM out front told her it was Scooby Doo scary so I asked if he was aloowed to say that. :rotfl2:

No food pictures this trip. We had to break them in slowly.
If I had to guess, Aurora's favs were the characters and the Mountains while Ariel fell in love with Small World and Frozen Lemonade.

We've never been to breakfast at O'Hana's. It sure sounds great. I found the recipe for the pineapple bread on all ears. I've never had it so maybe I should make it to see what all the fuss is about!
Glad the newbies are having fun, sure sounds like you got a lot done on your first day. Yeah, I think if I was a kid the stretching room would have done me in too!

When we last left you, it was mid-afternoon and we decided to head back to POFQ. After a 15 minute wait for the bus (one of our longest) and a 10 minute ride, we were being told "Welcome Home" by that mysterious voice.
We all decided to have a quick swim and a short rest before the dinner hour. We supped at the food court (good food but not many choices) and headed back to MK around 7 pm to watch Spectro and Wishes.
On the way in, we ran into this pair of characters:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%202%20%20August%2010/DeclanandtheMunks.jpg
Chip was very happy to see Declan had the Chip Pirate pin on his lanyard but no Dale pin. While Chip danced for joy, Dale pouted. Declan assured him he was on a mission to find it.
We walked through Tomorrowland to check on wait times. They were all in the 30 to 40 minute range so we decided to find a spot for Spectro instead. Main Street had been fairly busy on the way through so we headed for Frontierland and found great spots in front of the Diamond Horseshoe.
On the way over I took a couple of pics; you know something I never do. :goodvibes

After Spectro, we followed the herd to the front of the Castle for Wishes and then beat it for the exit before the second Spectro of the night. We made it back to the resort in no time. All in all, it was a very full first real day and we were all tuckered out.

Afternoon to everyone. Last night, Pooksma told me that I needed to start another update so here I go. I love teaching projected-based course! Gives me time to update our trip report. :goodvibes
August 11th - Heading to the Studios
We were out the door just before 9 am. The Newbies weren't ready yet so they said they would meet us later. Amateurs!
At the bus stop we waited maybe 10 minutes and a Disney Cruise Line pulled up, door opened and the driver said "Anyone want to go to Disney Studios?" Woohoo, we're traveling in style now. This was a first for us, as we have never been on a cruise nor used Magical Express. It was cool to have those old cartoons playing during our short drive to the park.
We arrived shortly after 9 (not long after opening) and I made the FP walk to TSM because we had never been on this ride before ;);) and pooksma and Declan said they would meet me at RnRC.
I had a bit of a wait for the FPs but I really like the new way of lining up compared to last year. I found the end of the line near here:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%203%20August%2011/A1OneMansDream.jpg

Looking for pooksma and Declan, I heard my name. They were just around the corner from the entrance to the ride and were telling me tomake my way up. The wait time was about 30 minutes so I went in the single riders line instead. I thought I might be able to catch up to them this way. They went in as I was waiting at the head of the single rider line. Well about 40 minutes later, I was loaded into a limo for my ride. My opinion of the single rider line - it bites!
Next up was a ride on Star Tours. Pics taken during the walk

All caught up! Looks like a fun trip so far! Sounds like you had great luck with buses!
My Dh and I used to be big WWE fans - but we've gotten out of it now. We went to a couple of live events though - they were very fun!\
We had great luck with the busses for most of the trip.
It was fun to take Declan to the WWE. I went to a couple of shows years and years ago, in the Randy Savage days. This one wasn't as good but we still had a fun night.
Here are some pics of our little lucha libradore.

Declan looks cool in his mask! I suspect that must be his favorite wrestler. :)
I went to a wrestling match way back when...it was definitely entertaining....
I was on a date and it was this guys idea of a "fun" evening....:rotfl:
I can still remember how loud it was and how huge those wrestlers are.
Thanks for jogging my memory.

Yes that is a Ray Mysterio mask and he is one of his favourites. I can't imagine WWE being a date night. That would have really impressed pooksma.

Time to continue the Disney trip report.
As we left the Hat, we found a short line for Donald so we had to get his autograph and some pictures.

Beauty and the Beast is a fantastic show, even Declan liked it. :yay:
So now it was time for another first :lmao: Toy Story Mania. There was no one in the FP line so we made it to the stairs with no wait. Still managed to get a couple of queue pictures but not of the stand by side.

After the ride (I kicked butt) we were hungry so we headed for Pizza Planet for some lunch and then back to the resort. WE found the Newbies on our our way to eat. They had managed to find there way around without a problem and said they would meet us back at POFQ.
On our walk to the front, we came across some Green Army Men doing a promo for the Block Party Bash. They had some people helping them and it was hilarious.

Star Tours is a fun ride, nothing amazing but always fun. The Beauty and the Beast show is tremendous. Last year, there were two CMs who were signing throughout the show. It was incredible to watch them do all the roles.
And I was nowhere around, so it can't be blamed on me!!!

Donald is one of my favourites; probably why I have that Donald inkspot on the back of my leg. :lmao: Most of our character pictures this trip were just Declan. We did get in a couple when we went through the Character Spot at EPCOT.

We waited maybe 10 minutes before we were seated. We had a table next to the windows in the main dining room. Our server, Kate, quickly got us settled, asked if we had ever eaten there before (this would come back up later) and took our drink orders. While we were waiting, the pony races started.

We all had great meals (canyon skillet for the adults) and then it was time for dessert. Kate went through the choices and pooksma asked if they had the cinnamon tortilla. Kate looked at her and said, "I thought you said you had never been here before?" Declan gave us funny look and pooksma quickly said that she had heard that they were very good.
After we finished, I stayed behind to explain to Kate and she felt really bad that she may have given away our secret. I told her not to worry about it as he didn't catch on. She is a great server and if you ever get her say hello for us.

Soooo where are we dad? Right Day 4 and off to AK for the morning.
We all headed to AK for EMH and I have to say that this was a smart move for many reasons. Declansdad and our boy immediately went to grab FPs for Everest while the rest of us headed to the safari where we would meet them. This little jaunt of theirs provided some interesting conversation. More on that later when the pics are uploaded.
We were not sure how Princess Ariel would react to the safari ride but she liked it. This was probably the best safari we have done and I am convinced it was because of the early hour. We saw more animal activity than ever!

Been away way too long, time to move this thing along.
After we left the Safari, we split up. We had FPs for EE and we hoped it was moving. When I went to get the FPs, it was stuck. It looked like this:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/declansdad/DisneyWorld%202009/Day%204%20August%2012/A2theclimb.jpg
We checked at the main board and tey said it was back up. Our FPs took us right to the front of the line with no wait. Before I knew it I was sitting in the very front seat while the family sat in the next seat back. The front seat on EE is amazing and you can get some great pics.

Yes, our little boy was selected to compete in a math contest with a bird. He had a ball and even managed to beat the bird on one question. :rotfl2: If you have never seen this show, you need to take it in. Here are a few of the sights.

After the show, Declan decided he wanted to work at AK.
We walked through the Jungle Trek looking for the Newbies and found them at the other end. Kali was down so we all headed for Dinoland. The kids and Newbie Dad rode Tricerotop spin and we all played a game before heading into the Dig Site.
After a dig, we decided to split up and have some lunch. We eneded up going back to the resort and then heading to POR to have lunch at their food court.
Some more pics from AK:

We walked over to POR and had lunch. The food court was nicer and they had a few more choices but for some reason, I have no pictures. We went looking for the fishing hole and it started to rain. The CM said they may have to close if it rained too hard so we put off our fishing trip. There were two young women fishing he needed some help getting a fish off the hook. After the assist, they let Declan give it a try.

That's great that Declan got to have that experience. We need Dawn to get chosen for that role someday! :goodvibes
Although a few of the decorations freak me out a bit, I like POFQ overall. I'm looking forward to staying in that pretty place after two more sleeps at home. :) I think the buildings and landscaping are so pretty, and the beignets are a definite pro. I don't think the weird looking jesters are enough to make me stay away, but I won't be spending much time looking them in the eyes.
Hope you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving up there!

He has been lucky on our trips, he has been chosen for a number of things. Maybe we should get him to buy some lotto tickets. :lmao:
I think you will like POFQ; it is well laid out and very pretty. Some of those decorations are a bit scary and the food court is a bit cramped but that isn't why you go to WDW.

What a very...um...educational safari you had! ;)
Score on the Everest seat!! I would be screaaaaaaaaaming all the way and loving it!
I was hoping we'd fit Flights of Wonder in on this last trip, but it didn't happen-perhaps in December, after your pictures now I want to see it even more.
POFQ and POR look like such beautiful resorts! And I love that you can take a boat around the properties! What a relaxing afternoon activity.

Well all those "take your kids out of school" threads always talk about the educational experiences WDW presents. :rotfl:
The front seat on EE is awesome! The view at the top is amazing and the big drop pretty cool.
That was our second, I mean first ;), time seeing Flights of Wonder. The CM that has the tour guide role is very good. We have heard that he has being playing the role for at least 2 summers.
OMG, that is soooo cute! So glad you're back and posting again!

Thanks, we'll try to get update a bit quicker.
It always amazes me to watch cats. Regardless of the size, they act alike. I have watched our house cats with the same mannerisms as the big cats.

After some nice refreshing naps, we all headed for EPCOT. This was our evening to have supper at the Rose and Crown. Our ADR was for 7:30 so we were hoping to get a patio table so we could watch Illuminations from there.
We arrived at EPCOT, Newbies picked up a stroller, and headed for the World Showcase. We decided to do the tour for three reasons:
We had time
To show the Newbies where their Princess Breakfast would be
Churros and Magaritas in Mexico :woohoo:
After a nice stroll around the Lagoon, we checked in and asked for a patio table. We were told that tables are assigned as they come available. As we waited, the clouds started to move in and we were worried that Illuminations would be canceled.
Soon the buzzer buzzed, and we were shown to our table. :yay: We were at the very end of the upper patio. This proved to be a great seat not only for the show but because it started to rain just after we sat down. Being under the roof, we were able to stay dry.
After a great meal that we stretched out long enough, we were able to watch the show from where we sat. I have a video of the entire show (Link (http://ca.video.yahoo.com/watch/5988733/15570334)) and some pictures.
A few before the show:

If you watch the video and listen carefully, you may be able to pick up a little drama that happened as we watched. Apparently a palmetto bug decided to climb up Newbie Dad's leg and it freaked him out a bit.
After finishing up our meals,, we headed back to the front of the park to catch a bus back to the resort. Here are some more pictures from the walk.

We had a great room at POFQ. It was 4135 - very close to the main building and the bus stop. We pretty much know it was preferred, so we were thankful for the upgrade. Jill had called and asked for something that would help her out with a less than full-speed still mom and two little ones with strollers. She wasn't expecting that good of a deal - just a ground floor - but we were all grateful for the room we got. It is a pretty resort, and I love the lobby when the sun is shining in on the fountain area.
We enjoyed some food items at the Food & Wine Festival, but did not stay for Illuminations. Maybe next time. Who knows? Little ones and my stupid knee have changed our trips a lot.

I think that shirt is a hoot. He usually keeps a bit of his hair dyed another colour. The first time he did it, he chose pink. I think he thought it would bother me because I wouldn't let him buy pink soccer shin pads. He forgets that I was around in the 80s when pink was the colour.

The rest of the story (well for this day).
Tonight was the night for us all to watch Fantasmic. We didn't get the diner package but we did have a reservation for Hollywood & Vine. We have never eaten there before.
We headed for the bus on the cover of dreary looking skies and sure enough, it started to rain before we got to DHS. Out came the ponchos and off we went to check in.
We were a few minutes late, mostly because of a very slow moving check-in line but we still managed to get seated fairly quickly. We all opted for the buffet. It was ok but nothing fantastic. It was still raining when we finished so we split up and agreed to meet in front of BATB around 8.
Pooksma, Declan and I opted to look through a couple of shops. Declan wanted to model some of the latest headgear.

My Video of Fantasmic (http://www.viddler.com/explore/declansdad/videos/1/).
After the show we made our way back out the main entrance and the line for the second show was all the way back to the end of Sunset Blvd. I'm so glad we didn't wait for the second show. :yay:

Love the pink shirt. We had a bully awareness day where all the boys in the school we asked to wear pink in honour of a young man who was beated to death (or near-death I'm not sure of my sources) for wearing pink. Most of the boys had to borrow shirts from their mothers or sisters.
We always meant to fish while we were at POR. It just never worked out for us. It sure looks like fun though.

I'm not even going to try to describe what we did from this point onwards because for some reason we didn't write it in our little trip diary. I do know that this day started out as an exciting one for pooksma. She was finally going to meet Mary Poppins; we were on our way to the Grand Floridian to Character Breakfast. We made our way to MK to catch the Resort Monorail and I managed to get some pictures while we waited.

After that last picture, my camera decided to tell me it was going to have a zoom error and refused to take any more pictures. I played with it a bit (banged it) and managed to get it to shut off but when it came back on, same thing. This made me upset. You may have figured out by now that I like to take pictures, they are my souvenirs of the trips. Without the camera, that wasn't an option. Worse still, I wasn't going to have any pictures of the Character Meal that pooksma has been waiting for since our first trip. I got a little perturbed which got other people perturbed and suddenly the day wasn't so good.
We arrived at the resort and looked around (no pictures). I sulked, people became angry with me. Need to get past this quickly. What to do? Go to gift shop and by an unreasonably over-priced disposable camera so we could have some pictures. That allowed us to get some shots and the mood did improve. Overall the meal was good. Declan invented an new dish - bacon-wrapped strawberries and the interaction was excellent with Alice and the Mad Hatter. Mary was a bit aloof and rushed. Bummer.
After the meal, we were off to EPCOT and I decided that the video camera would have to take my pictures. Unfortunately the quality is crappy but I made do.

LOL, the problem with that is I want the next camera to be a dslr and that is too big a purchase while on vacation.

The breakfast was excellent as usual and the character interaction was pretty good. We did have one problem though. Our table was about to have Piglet stop by just as we were seated but the parade started. When it was finished, Piglet didn't return. After waiting for about an hour, still no piglet. When the handler was approached, she was very rude and short with us and said there was nothing they could do. I was ready to complain when Piglet appeared and all the kids were happy again.

I enjoy walking around the front of the castle looking at all the little statues.
It's great that you had time to do that crowd free.
I am glad piglet finally caught up with you. I look forward to reading about the rest of your MK day.

This happened to us once. I was standing up by the topiaries with Bella since she was getting tired of waiting, and a CM came and talked to me about Bella's shirt. Jill had made the girls special Crystal Palace shirts for that meal. Anyway, when she heard that we were having to wait so long, she went and got the character (I think we were waiting on Pooh) and brought him to us.
Enjoyed seeing the little statues. :) They are some of those cute little Disney touches that are just fun to see again and again.

Glad piglet finallly made it around to your table. When we went a couple weeks ago piglet is the one who spent the most time with the kiddos. The rest of the characters were so rushed but piglet took the time to play peek-a-boo with my 12 week old. It was too cute.
Love the pictures of the statues. Chip and dale are my favorite.

I was surprised with the CM. She was actually quite rude when she addressed the Newbies and Princess Ariel was quite upset that she hadn't seen piglet.

The best thing about staying at POR (for us) was the boats. Just loved taking them. In fact I think we went to Downtown Disney more than we planned just because we liked the boats so much.
