So, I will be leaving for WDW in 10 days... and I have a question about sun tan lotion. I know suntan lotion (the greasy oily mess) can wreck havoc on SLR cameras. This will be my first extended trip that will require gobs of the greasy stuff. How to you keep the grease off of your camera? Should I get some sport lotion so I won't be left with slimy hands? After a week at WDW I'll be off on a cruise in the Caribbean, so I'll be using my camera a lot and I'm really worried about the whole suntan lotion/camera thing.

Any tips, or suggestions? Am I worrying too much?

On our last trip in August we used spray-on sunscreen (like an aerosol) and it worked great and didn't leave your hands all greasy.

I would give Neutrogena sunscreen with Helioplex. I bought it for using this summer and it is supposed to be dry-touch and non-greasy. It's oil free, sweat proof and waterproof.

Good luck!! :thumbsup2

B/c you don't really need to worry too much about keeping your hands protected, be sure to wash them or use an alcohol wipe after applying the sunblock. You should also be careful about the sunblock on your face coming off on the back of the camera.

Thank you guys so much! I will be sure to pack some alcohol wipes--- didn't think about the back of the camera.
