Why can't they sell stuff like they do at Tren-D online on disneyshopping?

I LOVED the Store Tours segment that Julie did on Tren-D and the pictures that Corey took were awesome. I SOOOOOO want to go and there is so much stuff I want from there! I am so sad because I do not have a trip planned in the near future and I have no idea when I will get to shop at Tren-D!!

It made me wonder how come they can't have such cool and fun stuff at the Disney Stores or Disney Shopping online. I don't except them to have the Disney World merchandise but that stuff would be so cool. The stuff online and at the stores is so generic and I just wish they could have that stuff!!

Well... I guess I will have to wait until the next trip...

"Designer" items aren't made in the same larger production numbers as mass marketed items. That's part of the reason they charge so much for them. They are considered speciality items.

If they would place those items online, they are opening themselves up to a wider market, and wouldn't be able to meet those demands. There is nothing more suicidal than to have a reputation of always being "sold out" of an item online.

I understand the logistics, but it would still be nice to have some cooler stuff available online.
