Hello everyone. I got back from San Francisco on Tuesday and made a little photo TR on the podcast page. It'd be silly to post the whole report here again, so here's the link if anyone is interested in looking.

Ahhh...that makes me just a little homesick. I grew up in the Bay Area, and went to school in SF. Luckily, Rob and I will be heading out there next year for my high school reunion.:cool1:

:woohoo: I can't wait! I've only been to San Francisco once, about 10 years ago. LOVED visiting there. We stayed at the Fairmont (because I worked at the Dallas Fairmont at the time) and it was SO cool!

And we're thinking of maybe driving down to Anaheim to hit Disneyland at the tail end of our trip! :yay:

Awesome. By the time you go, the Walt Disney Family Museum (http://disney.go.com/disneyatoz/familymuseum/exhibits/articles/presidio/index.html) will probably be open.

If you really want to be a complete Disney geek, you can visit Diane Disney's vineyard (http://www.silveradovineyards.com/html/winery.html).

Thanks! Yes, we did the audio portion, which is part of the tour to Alcatraz. My nephew is a huge fan of "The Rock" movie and wanted to see where all the scenes were filmed. I told him he'd have to go to a Hollywood studio for that.

I've never been to Alcatraz...which is odd considering I've lived in the Bay Area for ever (litereally, it has been forever for me).

But it looks like you had fun, which isn't difficult to do there...it IS the greatest city in the world!

That's very typical. My ex-partner lived in New York all his life and never visited the Statue of Liberty.

I heard it's an amazing tour.....the audio company that does the audio tour for Alcatraz is the same company that does our audio tour at my work....

I liked the movie too.....Clint Eastwood! yay!!!!

Hey guys,

I'm new to the boards and wanted to step in to say hello and introduce myself. I live at the corner of Castro and Market and am looking at the big rainbow flag from my window as I type this. I love living here but at the moment my entire psyche is invested in trip planning my August Disney World vacation.

I have been listening to the podcast and I love how so many of the people who are on the podcast are gay (unlike many on the DPN or other Disney podcasts).

Thanks for all the good information in your posts and the laughs I get by the fun you have with all of this. Have a great weekend!

Heh, I could make almost the same post, except that I'm a few blocks away (next to Dolores Park), and my trip to WDW is in June. :goodvibes
