I'm new to all this digital stuff and currently have the Polaroid My Memories Suite software. I'm not too terribly impressed with it. It's very limited IMO. I'm looking at possibly getting Photoshop but to be honest it looks a bit daunting to me. I'm also looking at the Creative Memories software mainly because they have licensed Disney stuff to work with but I'm afraid they may be limited too. Can you use the CM Disney stuff with other software or does it have to be used only with the CM software?

Any advice would be appreciated. I don't want to waste my money on another software only to not like it in the long run.

Hello! Unless you want to be a designer or design your own elements - it is unlikely that you will feel limited with SBC+ from Creative Memories. You should check out the SBC+ thread on here - quiltymom, DisneyCruiser2008, and labdogs42 all use SBC+ and their pages are really great. You can click on my link below too to see my layouts - SBC+ is really a great option for digital scrapbooking and the learning curve is shorter than Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. Keep in mind - just my opinion :)

Oh - I forgot to answer your question - the CM Disney stuff can only be used with other software only if you own SBC+ because you need the program to open the files and export the each of the elements as png files
