Hello! Dawn here again (Aussiegirl at some scrapping sites) to bring you our next challenge!

For this challenge, I want to see your Souven"ears"! Somewhere in your journaling or title I want you to use the word Souven"ear". Be creative and have fun! :)

One winner will get Oh-Da-da-Dear collab kit by Melissa Daniel and Neverland Scraps! One to Two 2nd place layouts will get Oh-Da-da-Dear Brag Book pages.

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb259/photoscrappingbee/mdaniel_ohdearbb_ess600.jpg

This challenge will run until midnight on May 3rd! These layouts don't necessarily have to be about you buying an item. They can be shopping in general for Disney items, they can be about a specific Disney purchase, they can be about a store or shopping area, they can be about an item you WISHED you'd bought. As long as they use the word souven"ear" somewhere on your layout, it will work for this challenge! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here is my layout to give you an idea! (the journaling talks about going to Downtown Disney and the World of Disney store, while my MIL went to Rainforest Cafe to pick up some food for our family get together. The 2nd oldest child was able to pick out her souven"ears" while at the World of Disney store.

Journaling: Matt & Kelli wanted to get Janet a birthday present, so we went to World of Disney and found this awesome hat. She still prances around wearing her favorite "souven"ear!

I had seen a few pages you'd done lately, and hoped you'd left some photos that still needed to be scrapped! Glad you did! :)

This one stumped me a bit because I don't usually take photos in the stores. Two of the pics are mine (ariel and kermit glasses) and the rest I googled.

Journaling says: I’ve taken 3 trips to the World since the Celebrate Today promotion was announced. Every trip so far I’ve been planning what souven”ears” I’m going to buy with my Birthday Fun Card!

I don't think anything with MM ears in it will be in her store. But, you should visit her blog...I think she has freebies on it with some of these. Britt, that's right, isn't it?

Arrgggg!!! Photoshop keeps blipping out on me. I must have done my page 3 or 4 times now but before I get to a point of saving PS shuts down and I lose everything. I know, I know. I should be saving more often. But I keep forgetting until it's too late. Now I'm not sure I'm going to make it by tonight. :sad2: Computes are such a pain. (I'm having problems with both PSCS3 on my laptop - keeps exiting out of program AND PSCS4 on my desktop - get errors when try to open PNG files. It's enough to make me go back to paper scrapping and toss the computers out the window!)

Here's mine finally. I haven't gotten my scrappin' mojo back since I got home. I hope this souven"ear" counts. My husband was a BIG Millionaire fan when it was at MGM. He'd play it 2 or 3 times a day and actually won the million once and we got a Disney cruise as the prize. Not bad! He really misses that attraction so I was able to get him one of the real hot button key pads that was used in the attraction as a souven"ear". It sits on a shelf in his den.

I scrap with PSE 5.0, and my original layout is 12"x12", which is 3600 pixels x 3600 pixels. I ALWAYS create my layouts at 300 dpi, otherwise they get grainy. When I save for posting to the web somewhere, I save it as a .jpg and save it at 600x600, on the "high" resolution setting, and that usually gets the filesize under 150k (which is what the limit usually is for posting a LO).

HTH!

Just making the deadline on this one, I couldn't think of an idea or pictures but my 17yo DD thought pictures of our puppies would work but they waited until today to take the pictures. It worked out since Scrapmatters New template was perfect for them.
