I was just reading the thread about giving something away. I was wondering where everyone buys these items and what is the most popular(sticks, necklaces, bracelets)

You can buy them at the dollar stores, Target (by the party supplies) or mass quantities from Oriental Trading.

We always pick them up in the Target dollar section after holidays. I found some glow sticks with the St. Patrick's Day $ items, so it apparently will show up in that area throughout the year. Halloween is prime time to find them.

I found glow eye glasses in the Party Factory a week or so ago. I usually get them in any of the dollar stores. I take enough for the child I take and take one for them to give away:) Just like to spread a little Disney magic:)

Dollar Tree is by far the least expensive. You can usually get a multi-pack for $1, where at Target or WM it will be only one for $1. On occasion, I have found packs with as many as 15 at the Dollar Tree, but most of the time the packs have about 6.
This year I even found a glow sword and a glow wand at Dollar Tree for our trip in 16 days!!!

Walmart also has them in the toy section, both glow sticks and necklaces, for $1.

A couple weeks ago Michael's Craft Store had tubes of 15 bracelets, 2 for $1, so 30 bracelets for $1.
If they still have them, I thought it was a great deal, I stocked up!

Oriental Trading is where I would buy them. They have great party stuff (and lots more) for less expensive than most places. They have a website. I ordered something from them a couple of times and also get catalogs in the mail. Go to the website and search glow to find them.

I picked up bracelets from the Dollar Tree and found out these worked very well for us- looped one through the back of each of the kids' hats so I could see them walking ahead of me with DH, put one on the front of my Bagallini (worn across my body) so they could see me when they looked back and put one on the front of MIL so I could find her as she dragged behind us :rotfl:

Does anyone know if you can get glow in the dark tattoos in the parks? I have found a few online, but they were $6.00 for a sheet of POTC.
Thanks!

I was at a junk type store a/k/a a dollar store. They had a package of 15 for $1.00
Almost fell on the floor as I bought a package on ebay a while back that cost me nearly 25. and they were NOT great, NOR did they last as long as I thought they would. BUT, the kids loved em so that was the point!
TRY THOSE DOLLAR STORES! Good luck!

I was just at Dollar Tree yesterday, hunting for glow items..
Found larger sized glow necklaces...2 packs, and smaller bracelets 6 packs. I picked up a few packs of each in assorted colors... Now that I think about it though, I may go back for a few more to hand out to other kiddos in our general area... another errand to run in the next 2 days!!!

I usually buy them in bulk from Oriental Trading. I have never looked for them at a dollar store. Does anyone know what the shelf life is if I need them for Oct and want to pick a few packs up every month till then?

I'm getting some at the dollar store (bracelet type), but I also have small, camping type ones that I got at Halloween clearance at Walmart. They were made to make kids visible while ToT'ing, but they make great camping nightlights and can be worn around the neck on (included) lanyards.
