Actually I was thinking that Tuesday after Illuminations would be a better night for Jellyrolls than Monday anway. I started my disney movie countdown last night. Aristacats was the first, today is Lady and the tramp. Do you believe I woke up at 12:01 just so I could say out loud "my trip is next month" I'm officially crazy

My daughter is arriving 9-20 at POR with her two boys. The boys have no clue. They think they are going for a few days to a vacation spot in Wisconsin.
What she doesn't know is my younger daughter and I will be arriving later the same day at the same resort. Since I already know her itinerary, I will be waiting for them when they get back from dinner. She thinks I am staying home to take care of her dog, but I arranged for a boarding kennel.
I am looking forward to seeing the looks on their faces.:dance3:

I had to laugh out loud at this because my kids have fought all summer long too. Mainly when we go to my mom's house to visit, which makes it even more special. :headache: I have one more week of it and they will be back in school. Thank goodness!!:thumbsup2

Hooray! Sept 3-8 at Pop, just me and DD9. We wanted to sneak in one more trip before she's a "Disney Adult." We just booked on the last day free dining was available!
Thu 3rd - Late flight, land MCO 10:10. Check in and right to bed!
Fri 4th - MK w/ 2:40 Crystal Palace ADR
Sat 5th - AK w/6:40 Chefs de France @ Epcot
Sun 6th - E w/ 4:40 Coral Reef
Mon 7th - DHS w/ 3:15 Sci Fi
Tue 8th - 8:20 Supercal Breakfast, and I don't know where we'll wind up, but I'm guessing MK, then sadly we have to check out and fly home.
We just plan our mornings/early afternoons, then we do whatever the heck we feel like for the rest of the day and night.
We are so excited, me and my daughter love to go alone with no one to slow us down!

We (my DH, DS (4.5), DS (nearly 2), & I) are staying in a Family Suite at ASMu from 9/11 to 9/19. We didn't take the free dining offer as I had received a 40% off pin & was able to apply it to the FS. :thumbsup2
We have 6 day MYW tix (no park hopper)
Here's our plans -
9/11 - Fri.
Depart @ 5:50am (YIKES!) :scared1: and arrive in Orlando around 11:15am.
Get to resort, check-in, etc. then spend afternoon/early even. in DTD.
9/12 - Sat.
Magic Kingdom
8:10am ADR @ Crystal Palace
9/13 - Sun.
Hollywood Studios
9/14 - Mon.
Epcot
6:15 ADR @ Garden Grill
9/15 - Tues.
Free Day
Just a day to relax, recover from our first 3 days, catch up on rest, relax at the resort or maybe check out Ft. Wilderness.
Late afternoon/evening - MNSSHP! The boys are going as Sulley & Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc.! :goodvibes
9/16 - Wed.
Epcot
9/17 - Thurs.
7:15am ADR @ Chef Mickey's
Animal Kingdom
Possibly another trip to DTD that evening.
9/18 - Fri.
Last Day :sad1:
Magic Kingdom
9/19 - Sat.
8:15am Flight home.
We originally had park hoppers, but decided against it & used our savings to get tix to MNSSHP. We figured with 2 young boys, it would take too much time to hop and we just were not sure we'd get our $ out of the PH option. Definitely something we'll take advantage of in the future as they get older and have a better idea of their Disney 'stamina.' :yay:
OK - experts/WDW seasoned veterans: how does that plan sound???

The fact that I am even writing this is a miracle in itself (teary eyed). Had some really rough 3 years, and didn't even think that celebrating our 10 year anniversary and my birthday and son's upcoming 2nd birthday at Disneyworld would even be possible! But thanks to many prayers and FREE dining we are able to go! This will be our first family vacation!:banana:
We plan to visit from 09/15-09/20. We will be staying at the AS Sports.
The 15th: Arriving around 5pm, checking out hotel, taking it easy
The 16th: Eating at Rainforest for breakfast (we love it there), eating at Tusker house at 1:10p with the Nemo seating (couldn't believe we were able to actually get the reservation!), Dinner at Yak & Yeti counter service. We will be visiting AK.:donald:
The 17th: Eating at Cape May for breakfast (tried and tried to get Chef Mickey), eating at Le Cellier for lunch (had to at least try the food here after so many recommendations), eating at Chefs De France for dinner (this place is really good). We will be visiting Epcot.:fish:
The 18th: Eating at End Zone or a QS for breakfast, eating at Pecos Bills or another QS for lunch, enjoying the 8pm Spirit of Aloha Show. We will be visiting Magic Kingdom.:earsboy:
The 19th: Eating at Crystal Palace for breakfast and after that we are not sure! We will be visiting the Magic Kingdom.:mickeyjum
We will be taking it easy the 20th and checking out.
To all of you who will be visiting in September have a safe and wonderful time!

After having my itinerary pretty much set for two years, I decided to switch the day we'll be at DHS, since the day I had planned to go became a Fantasmic day, and we're going to skip it.
My new plans are as follows (if you notice something that seems super wacky and wrong, let me know!):
9/25-26: Drive down from Indiana and arrive at Port Orleans Riverside early evening on the 26th.
9/27: Disney Hollywood Studios, lunch at Sci-Fi
9/28: Epcot Future World, free evening
9/29: Magic Kingdom, Hoop-Dee-Doo at 7:30
9/30: Morning at water park, then Epcot World Showcase, Biergarten at 2:00
10/1: Animal Kindom, Yak and Yeti at 11:30, then DTD in the evening
10/2: Le Cellier for lunch, MNSSHP at night :banana:
10/3: Breakfast at Boma, start heading back home.
As far as eating, even though I just noticed we only have one TS dinner, I think I'm pretty happy with everything right now. My partner and I both prefer big lunches to big dinners, anyway. I'm going to try to get Tusker House instead of Yak and Yeti, but I won't be too upset if I don't.

You may not need every minute planned but you do a plan. Disney is not a go place to "wing it". You should at least know your parks for each day and GET DINING RESERVATIONS!!!! :eek: Sept is free dining month so all the restraunts will be booked. :confused: You can now do it on line. I hope you all have a great time and remember to embrace the magic!!!:wizard:
Hope this helps!! Use the dis boards they are filled with great info!!!:worship:

We are leaving on Sept. 18,2009 and driving down (hoping to only being an hour out from Disney). We will spend the night in a hotel. Saturday the 19th we will check into SSR and we will either go to Animal Kingdom or just spend the day at DTD. Just gonna play it by ear depending on time and our moods. We have a reservation for Rain Forest Cafe at DTD for Saturday night. Sunday the 20th we will be going to Epcot with dinner reservations at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Fort Wilderness Lodge. Monday the 21st we will be going to MK with dinner reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern. Tuesday the 22nd we will be at DHS with dinner reservations at 50's Prime Time. Wednesday we will either be at Universal Studios or Animal Kingdom we haven't decided yet. Oh yeah and we also have a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's on Monday. I feel like I have most everything covered other than if we don't go to Universal on Wednesday I don't have any reservations made for dinner that night.:eek: But I am not worried about us not eating we will figure something out. I am getting so excited cause it is getting close! We haven't been to Disney in 10 years so this is a BIG deal around my house (I still don't think my son can beleive we are going):rotfl:.

Had to to come up with a new plan due to the shows scheduled at HS. I am trying not to overplan and I know things never go perfectly. Keeping in mind this is my first trip, be gentle.
Sept 7th: arrive at MCO at 230pm. Head to room at POP to get settled maybe eat at food court depending on how hungry I am. Then head to DTD hopefully good weather to do characters in flight.
Sept 8th: early EMH at Epcot, do Soaring, TT and spaceship earth. Head to HS and see Beauty and the Beast, don't think I can do Indiana Jones and the car show both because of their schedule. If possible will do car show at 1:20 then try to get into the 2pm indy show but I know this may not work. Head back to Epcot. Get what I can in till my 5pm ressie at Chefs de france. Meeting disers for Illuminations then Jelly Rolls.
Sept 9th: HS with 11am ressi at Primetime. Will get whichever show I missed (INdy or Car stunt show) in before I head to AK to catch the parade then evening EMH. Boma at 8:40pm for dinner.
Sept 10th: Early EMH at MK, all day at MK with friend from FL. 4:50pm ressie at Park Fare. Then Spectro and fireworks.
Sept 11th: AK then 5:00 dinner at CP then MNSSHP.
Sept 12th: Play by ear, maybe early EMH at HS if I need catch up. Fly home at 6:30 so probably have to be back at hotel about 1:30

Register your name on the Disney site for your Birthday. You will also need to bring your birth certificate for prof but since you already have tickets, you can get a free 75.00 gift card. Pick this up at Guest Relations. :thumbsup2
Also tell the folks that it's your birthday, they will give you a button to wear and a lot of "Happy Birthdays!!".

We leave 1 month from today! This is our first time with the dining plan (can't turn it down if it's free, right?) so we'll see how that works out. I learned my lesson on our last trip (March 2008) that having TOO many ADRs, especially at resorts, really cut into our touring time. Since we only have 4 1/2 days for this trip, we decided to go with a signature dining restaurant on our arrival night (California Grill) so we only have 4 preplanned sit-down meals. Hopefully this will give us a little more flexibility.
I only have 2 regrets about our timing of this trip: 1) Space Mountain is closed! :( and 2) The only night Fantasmic is happening is the night we have tickets for MNSSHP. But oh well, I'm SURE we'll be back to see both before we know it!

2-1/2 weeks till dh and I go for an adult only trip. Normally we bring grandkids, but this is a trip that is just for us. DH will be 50 while we are in WDW. We have some ressies as restaurants we haven't tried before: The Wave, Tutori Italia & Kouzinna, and we are eating at one place we love Narcoosees. We are hoping for great weather. Can we all blow and keep the hurricanes from forming and coming to Disney World? We plan to just enjoy ourselves and do some things we can't spend as much time doing when we are with kids (watching Off Kilter, browsing at a slower speed). Hope everyone here has a great time. I'm sure we will.

I sent letters to all three schools today asking for the children to be excused for the six days that they will be missing, and they all got excused!!:cool1: I also sent letters to each teacher asking for the work up front so that we can turn it in before we go. :thumbsup2 The teachers said that they appreciated the advance notice. :teacher: I am sooooo happy!! :dance3:

We are headed to the Beach Club for a long weekend on Sept 18-20! It will be our first time staying at either BC/YC and swimming in Stormalong Bay.:banana: It's my DH's birthday and we decided to go with the Deluxe DP this time, so we have ressys for TS locations Fri lunch (Le Cellier) late dinner (Cape May clam bake) Sat breakfast (cape may characters) Sat late dinner (le cellier) Sun breakfast (Captain's Grille) and a late lunch (Chefs de France). We may end up forgoing our Sun lunch for a QS lunch on Sat, though I don't think we'll be very hungry! I am looking forward to a lot of fun and relaxation at the resort and pool, we are local (1.5 hours away) passholders and definately do not need to do the theme park commando thing this time. This is our first deluxe besides Wilderness Lodge last year and I hope we don't get too spoiled, we will probably go for a moderate for our big vacation next May.
I am sooo looking forward to Stormalong Bay!

We will be staying at BLT from 9/5- 9/14!! While we won't get the advantage of free dining as we are DVC members we do have the following meals planned: Crystal Palace- Brkfst, Chef Mickey- Brkfst and Dinner, Liberty Tree- Dinner, Cape May- Dinner, Ohana- Dinner, Park Fare- Dinner, and Hoop De Do! Can't wait!!! We will also be attending MNSSHP!:cool2:
LOL you are going to be there the same time as us :). AKL 9/5-9/15. Same here on free dining being DVC members we don't qualify. Same type of meals planned too.
Chef Mickey's Brkfst, Liberty Tree-Dinner, Cape May-Dinner, Teppan Edo-Dinner, Kona Kafe - Breakfast, We debated on Ohana because we love it but decided to skip this time. Even debated on Hoop Dee Do but decided the kiddos are probably too young yet so we are going with Mickey's Backyard BBQ.
Hope you have a great trip.

So - has anyone done this yet? What benefit is there? Do you get to pick rooms? Can you put in a room request? Do you get confirmation of special requests (i.e. pack 'n play)? Do you know your actual room number?
Just curious!

I have not done this yet but I have read about it. From what I understand the main benefit is that you will not have to stand inline at the main check in desk when you get there. It's supposed to save time. I think that you can put in a room request for like a fridge, baby bed and things like that but it is limited. You will not know your room number until you get there. Also, I read that they still sometimes offer upgrades to those who check in online & walk up so you still may have a chance of getting one. (like that would ever happen to me:rotfl2:)

Go ahead and start packing . . . I have been packing for a month. I set aside the toiletries, buy new toothbrushes, etc. What you can't physically pack - pack that on paper. I find that starting early you have more time to realize what you forgot and what you really don't need after all.
If you are only going to Epcot for one day, avoid spending too much time in the Innoventions buildings. They come up right after Spaceship Earth and have things in it you can find in a local science center. During our first trip we looked at every little thing in there . . . then realized how much was on the other side! :eek:

Yep! AirTran flys direct from Indianapolis to Orlando...from the airport, through Magical Express, to the resort and setting foot inside the Magic Kingdom, we'll be walking on Main Street by 11am!! Flying down and STILL having time for a full day in the parks...awesome.
(Side note: AirTran has changed our flight numerous times, so we're not in love with the airline, but we DO enjoy getting to WDW so early in the morning thanks to the direct flight.)
Have a blast!!

I've started trying putting everything together and I am freaking myself out even though I still have over 2 weeks to get everything organised. Delta cancelled our LA to Sydney flight so now I have to organise a hotel in LA for the night and a day in LA, which in reality will be very easy but I just freak myself out.
Our plan is as follows
Saturday 19th September -->
Fly out of Sydney at 9am local time
Arrive in Orlando 6pm local time
Get to CSR, grab some dinner from Pepper Market, maybe have a swim/spa to relax us after a long flight and then hit the hay to try and sleep off as much jetlag as possible.
Sunday 20th September -->
Up Early, off to DHS
Return to CSR around lunch time for a swim/nap
Off to Magic Kingdom for the evening/EMH.
Dinner ADR at Cali Grill :)
Monday 21st September -->
Up Early, Off to MK
Return to CSR for swim/nap
DHS for evening/EMH
all counter service meals today
Tuesday 22nd September -->
AK Day, be there at rope drop like other days, but take our time around the parks.
Dinner ADR at Jiko @ AKL
Wednesday 23rd September -->
Up early, Epcot Day!
Lunch ADR @ Le Cellier
Chilled out afternoon in Epcot
Watch Illuminations at 9pm and head back to CSR
Thursday 24th September -->
Day at Universal Studios :)
Dinner @ Citywalk
Friday 25th September -->
Day at IOA
Dinner @ Citywalk
(We have to taxi back and forth to Universal both days as we are unab le to hire a car as both me and my boyfriend are under 25. Has anyone had any experience with the Mears shuttle service to Universal? I am hesitant to use them as I would like to be there for rope drop and we would like to have dinner after park close so the shuttle wouldn't be able to take us back either would they?)
Saturday 26th September -->
Free day to do whatever we choose; first sleep in, DD, Waterpark, Boardwalk or even revisit a park. Anyone have a suggestion as to what you think I must do?
Dinner @ Flying Fish Cafe
Sunday 27th September -->
Up Early, pack up our stuff. 9:30am ADR at Chef Mickeys
Spend the final day wherever we haven't been, probably DD or in the parks.
Fly out of Orlando at 6pm
Arrive LA 9pm
Check into hotel near LAX
Monday 28th September -->
Spend the day in LA
Fly out of LA, Sydney bound at 10pm
Any suggestions on what I could do to make it better or comments/criticisms??

Well, it is FINALLY the week that we leave for Disney World..... :worship:
We are leaving this Saturday, the 5th and will be there until the following Saturday, the 12th.... I feel like time is just crawling and I am ready to jump out of my skin with excitement so I thought I would write out our itinerary as a way to get some of this bottled-up excitement out because I'm sure my husband is ready to kill me from all the Disney talk I've thrown his way! :rotfl2:
First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Jenna, I'm 27, and I am a disney-a-holic. It has been 11 months since our last trip to the world and I'm about to relapse in 3 DAYS!! :cool1: I am definitely the planner of the trips..... I plan and plan and plan all day long.... I just love it, it tides me over until we actually can get onto the Disney property!
http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/7589/wedding091.jpg (http://img190.imageshack.us/i/wedding091.jpg/)
My husband John has learned to called Disney his #1 vacation destination! He was always a Disney fan but not quite as much until I came into his life! This trip will be the first time we will be in the World for his birthday, which is September 8th.... he will be turning 31.
http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/9753/1002068.jpg (http://img406.imageshack.us/i/1002068.jpg/)
We almost ended up cancelling this trip altogether 2 months ago because of the economy :confused3 BUT we found a way to make it work, with many thanks to the Disney Visa Reward Dollars and Disney gift cards from past holidays! :thumbsup2
We have booked 3 nights at Port Orleans Riverside, this being our 1st time staying at this resort. We both have visited before to check out the fishing here and I used to stay at French Quarter years ago with my family so it will bring back a lot of memories to stay here!
Then, on John's bday, we are heading over to the Polynesian for 4 nights! This is our DREAM resort, we both have stayed there many years ago, me in 2001, and John probably in 1987 but we've never stayed here together, even though we make a habit of visiting Ohana every year and getting a lapu lapu! :yay:
I just wanted to share some things on our itinerary for this year:
Saturday, Sept 5th- Check in at POR, take the boat to DD, lunch at either Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express, head over to ESPN Club at night hopefully to watch a dodger game, and back to POR to check out Yehaa Bob at the River Roost Lounge! (don't forget, I plan EVERYTHING! :rotfl:)
Sunday & Monday, Sept 6th & 7th- I really don't want to go to the parks until after Labor Day and the crowds go home so this will most likely be a pool or beach day! Maybe head out to Clearwater.....
I had wanted to do La Nouba one night for John's bday since we've never gotten around to it but didn't want to spend the $$ since we already splurged on Poly so I rented the DVD from netflix instead! :thumbsup2 It was much better than I expected and I'm surprised that Cirque du Soleil would allow a DVD to be made bc I don't really feel I have to spend the $$ on tickets now that I've already seen the DVD....
I had gone on tripadvisor.com to look at the highly rated things to do in the area (since we always have a rental car) and came across something at WonderWorks in Orlando called The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show. 2 shows nightly $25 pp includes an hour show and unlimited pizza, salad, popcorn, soda, beer, wine, and dessert! Then, I searched on ebay and found a buy one, get one free coupon! So I definitely plan on doing this either Sunday or Monday! Dinner, drinks, and a show for both of us for $25?! Good deal! :woohoo:
I also bought CityWalk passes on ebay for a discount to all clubs and plan on doing dinner at Margaritaville and clubs one of these nights!
Tuesday, September 8th *THE BIG DAY*- This is the day I've been looking forward to the most! John's bday and check-in at the Polynesian! I scheduled breakfast at Kona Cafe and plan on checking in super early (even though I'm not expecting to get our room ready) hoping and crossing my fingers that we may just receive our first upgrade ever? I figure the day after Labor Day should be one of their slower times and I booked a garden view room..... but would love to be surprised with a MK view! However, I'm not getting my hopes up or expecting anything. It is wonderful enough to be able to spend 4 nights at Poly! :lovestruc
I always like to surprise John with something at Disney every year. On our honeymoon, I ordered a gift basket from the Disney Florist with champagne, crackers, and the bride and groom Mickey ears. I also had the personalized menus and diver ordered at Coral Reef. Boy, was he shocked!
Last year, for our anniversary, I special-ordered a cake from 1900 Park Fare.
This year, I was supposed to keep Polynesian a surprise but I was so excited and ended up telling him! He was happy but I wish I had kept this a surprise till the day of his bday..... so I still wanted to have a surprise for him and I came across a little web site on the disboards called giftsofalifetime.com.
Jane has been super helpful and wonderful in coming up with a great personalized event for the day of John's bday. All you have to do is fill out a pre-questionnaire on her website (free of charge) and she will email you back an idea for you. If you don't like the idea she comes up with, you don't have to pay anything and can just back out. However, I really liked the idea she came up with and I added some of my own tips to make this event even more personalized! We are going to do a scavenger hunt through Epcot! I was a little concerned that this would make my husband stand out and he is a shy guy and doesn't like attention drawn to himself and Jane assured me that this will just be something the 2 of us can share and be a memorable event for years to come! Since Brady, our german shepherd, is such a huge part of our lives, we decided to have the hunt center around him.... There will be a note with his name on it waiting for John in a designated location in World Showcase. The note will be from Brady, saying pretty much "I know you left me at home but I got you a gift and I left you hints around the park to find it!" All the clues are going to be personalized with a picture of Brady on it and I told Jane our favorite places to hit in World Showcase and she will incorporate these places! For example, my husband loves trains, so one clue will take us to the train garden in Germany. He loves the Mexico boat ride and she will have us ride the boat ride during our search. I cannot wait to see his face when he gets his first clue!
After Epcot and our hunt, I have a 5:30 resort photo session booked at the Poly and I plan on using John's bday fun card to pay for this! :thumbsup2
I have his bday dinner booked at The Wave, which neither of us have tried before.....
Wednesday, Sept 9th- Lunch at Chefs De France, new to us again. Was hoping to see Remy but I believe he leaves on Saturday so oh well....
Dinner is scheduled at one of our favorites- Ohana!
Thursday, Sept 10th- Lunch at Restaurant Marakkesh- another newbie for us. I think my husband only cares about seeing belly dancers. :rotfl2:
I have dinner scheduled at Chef Mickeys and depending on how we are doing time-wise, I hope to head back over to DHS and catch our first-ever showing of Fantasmic! :yay:
Friday, Sept 11th- Our last full day at Disney :sad2: .... ive booked an afternoon tea at the Garden View Lounge at GF..... weve never done this before but my husband loves tea and I love the GF, so Im really looking forward to trying this one! Also plan on watching Hallowishes from the Poly beach on our final night!
And that's our itinerary!

19 days for us! :yay: I feel like the days are draaaaaggggggging by and keep thinking of how the days will fly by at Disney. We are set to enjoy every minute :)
We have our 20 day countdown calendar that DD4 and I made together in place and she is having fun counting down the days and daydreaming aloud about all she wants to do.....this will be her third trip and DD1's first! She will be 16mo so I am excited (and maybe a little anxious) to see how she will do with the characters and some of the dark rides. I remember being the same way at DD4's first trip, and she loved EVERYTHING. We'll see how the baby does; every child is different, of course. She is just at that super fun age where she dances and giggles at everything, so I think she will especially love all of the music, the shows and parades.
We also have DD4's "Disney Dollars Rewards Chart" up in her room :goodvibes She is something of a professional shopper, so DH and I figured we would work out a chart with a few behaviors and chores so that, with successful completion each day, she can earn Disney Dollars to spend on the trip. I'm really proud of her; she's doing a really good job "checking" herself and making good choices. She LOVES Disneyworld and the hard part about this trip will be breaking the news that we are, sadly, not staying forever. We keep talking about how it is 8 nights at Disney, but she is not having it. :rolleyes1
My parents are joining us for the trip and they are just as excited as we are. They love all things Disney and are good travel partners for us; we all want to get up and GO!
We'll be at CBR September 22-30 and have some fun ADRs scheduled: Crystal Palace, Akershus Storybook Princess, Boma, 'Ohana, HDDR, LeCellier and Chef Mickey's. We have also scheduled the Wonderland Tea Party for DD4 (over the top about Alice!) and the Mickey's Magical Milestones Tour for my parents. This was to be the Steam Trains Tour, but needed to be rescheduled.
Hope everyone's September trip is MAGICAL!

I've ordered a gift basket from Memories by Betsy for my daughter for our arrival. ADRs are all made (and I swear, I'm not going to make any more changes!). MNSSHP tickets are paid for...just have to pack! Is it sad that I'm excited to spend my Labor Day weekend packing for Disney? I have my pile of "to take to Disney" stuff that has been sitting there for about a month now. It just keeps getting bigger, lol.

My hubby and I are leaving on Saturday for our 8th trip to the World together! My 13th and his 11th. I'm super excited and get more excited everytime! We'll be there from the 5th to the 13th. We, of course, are taking advantage of the free Dining plan (our first time on the plan)...so far we have California grill, 50's Cafe, Coral Reef Cafe, Sci-Fi and Marrakesh booked. We will wing it with the rest of our dining. Only 2 more days to go!!!

Hi guys. We are traveling from Idy on airtran on the 13thas well. First planned on driving but found an early am flight so we can enjoy the whole day at the parks!! Here's to a good flight!!! Have a great time!!!
Yea! We've taken this early flight before and LOVE it. After checking in at the resort, we were in the Magic Kingdom by 11am (while our co-workers back home were still an hour away from lunch!) and still had a full day in the parks.
We're staying at the at POR for the first time and are completely excited to be in this beautiful resort!
"Have a magical day". :wizard:

My Boyfriend, his Dad, his Girlfriend and Myself are leaving September 18th to drive there. I am so so SO excited! :) :D :D :D My boyfriend and I have never been before, but we've got a 7 day pass for Disney, a 7 day for Universal Orlando, and then on the way home we're stopping in the Smokey Mountains for two days! Only a little over a week to go, :). It's come up so fast too that I almost don't want it to come because then we will go and be back home before we know it. *Sigh* I hope the trip doesn't go by too fast, :(.

:laughing: I totally know how you feel! We've been planning this trip for awhile now, and have had a couple bad things come up in our personal lives during that time. I feel like this trip is just what we need now, and I'm looking forward to it so much, that I'm afraid it will be here and then over with in no time! :) Nothing like wishing away the moment, huh? My (unsolicited) advice is to get everything ready for the trip in time to have at least a few days before you leave, where you don't have to do anything (like pack). Then you can slow down and savor the anticipation. Then enjoy the heck out of the trip! :goodvibes
