Hi, we haven't been to Disneyland Paris for a couple of years and am reading a lot about halfboard and dining reservations, and just wondered whether DLRP is becoming like WDW in terms of needing dining reservations??
We haven't booked HB or made any dining reservations for our July trip and hadn't really planned to!!;) But should we??:confused3
We normally eat around 6pm - and generally we eat at Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe and Annettes Diner. Will these be a problem for 'walk ups' now a days??
We have previously done a character meal and would like to do one again - possibly afternoon tea or dinner?? (but not breakfast as we already get that included with our Hotel New York stay) - which one would you recommend and should I book it??
thanks for any advice!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

In February (the parks closed about 7) we tried to get into Plant Hollywood and there was a 2 hour wait
Rainforest and Annettes you can't book.
If you intend to go to Cafe Mickey, then I would definitely book.
Quite often the queue for non booked can be over an hour.

actually having read some threads further down this page :lmao:- I might have got a lot of my answers!!
Am I right in thinking that Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe and Annettes Diner don't take reservations and that we can still walk up??
As two of these don't take the HB vouchers, along with the fact we already have breakfast covered - I guess the HB vouchers aren't for us??
Finally, there are some good reviews of Cafe Mickey for dinner - I guess I should opt for that over the afternoon tea (Lucky Nugget reviews don't seem so good??) - If I wanted say a 6pm Cafe Mickey dinner, would I need to ring and book that??
thanks again for your help!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

You could wait and book at City Hall when you arrive (however I have never been in July so have no idea how busy it will be).
We have always thought that Cafe Mickey is very good for character interaction, childrens meals are EUR 16.?? and I think there is also a fixed menu for adults but have never eaten from it so don't know the price.
We had booked for the Luckey Nugget once but when we arrived we weren't very impressed and left before ordering/eating.
Rainforest has always given us good meals, the fajitas are one of our favourites.
They changed the childrens menu at Easter so they no longer get a puzzle book so there was nothing really to keep them occupied (prices vary Oct 2008 it was EUR 14.??, Christmas 2008 it was EUR 11.95, February 2009 it was EUR 7.95 and at Easter 2009, it was back to EUR 11.95)
