my boyfriend won't come with to DLP for three nights in mid june.

i have asked my Mum and i think that i might be able to persuade her to come with me.

any ideas on what a 31 year old and her Mum can do apart from the obvious stuff?

Thanks and good to be back on here!

Hi
Ive been with my mum who is 50 something (she won't be happy i've put that lol) 3 times she loves everything that i love (i'm 27) we love going on the rides looking at all of the detail that there is around the park in fact my mum does more of the rides then what i do. With the rides you have the more gentle ones ie Dumbo, Peter Pan and Buzz etc or you can be more adventuress and try the thrill rides ie ToT, Space Mountain Crush etc. Even if your mum does not do the rides like my dad there is still so much she can do ie go on the steam boat ride around thunder mountain this is a very leisurly ride or the train that goes around the park. Also you have main street to enjoy with many shops and lovely tea room and not forgetting the castle. Your mum will really enjoy it. Hope you have fun

I took my Mum for a cocktail in the DLH one afternoon - we sat and people watched - she loved it (and I did too)!

I think there's a spa at DLH, so getting some treatments might be fun.

Hi

I'm 52 and my mother is 77 we travel with my 20 year old son, we started going to WDW when my son was 7. We always have a fabulous time whatever Disney park we are in or where ever the park is.

None of us like roller coasters or thrill rides. But we do like buzz lightyear, the french version of haunted mansion, the railroad, the boatrides, and even pirates of the caribbean. Also at Walt Disney Studios, we like cinemagique, animagique, the car stunt show and the Studio Tram Tour.

We also like the Parades. What about shoppingt we love shopping!!! Stopping for coffee at all the lovely coffee shops. Eating we also love eating.

And lastly just strolling around soaking up the atmosphere and see all the children enjoying themselves.

have a good time

vivienne.

we've taken my mum twice and my aunt once.

My mum loves it, she's not into big thrill rides although she's done big thunder mountain once :goodvibes but she just loves it, she enjoys the parades, the gentler rides, seeing the characters, etc

My aunt was a pain in the neck and I'd never take her again !!!

I'm sure your mum will love it. All mums love the parades, makes them cry for some reason, (gets me every time).

Most of the rides are great and not all too white knuckle. Mums love to watch the young ones having fun. Lots of lovely cafes to sit and watch the world go by. Shopping. always good.

Enjoy

I'm sure your mum will love it. My parents never made it to DLRP but they went to both WDW and DL and both loved every minute of it. :thumbsup2

As you might have gathered from the other posts DLRP is a good place for Mams! Went with mine a few years ago, shes not very good with the rides, she thought the teacups in Fantasyland were wild! But she enjoyed it none the less, there were some rides she could stomach, plenty of shopping and coffee drinking! Loved the parades and the odd cocktail! She also spent a lot of time chasing Mickey and Minnie around the parks!...lunatic!

hope you and your mam have a wonderful time!
