I will be staying at CSR in July and want to stay in the Cabanas section since we have already stayed in the Casitas section. Can someone tell me which building in the Cabanas section is the closest to the Dig Site and El Centro. We will have a car so I don't need to be near the bus stop. I have looked at the maps on the web but they are so small that I can't read them. Help please!!!!!:earsgirl:

Car or not, I would recommend 9b as the building closest to the Dig Site and El Centro. The Dig Site is just a short walk over the bridge and right next to the main building.
Check out mey site below
Have a great trip!

Our first trip to CSR was casitas 5. We love it. I just like being closer to the pool but the walk isn't that bad. 5 mins. The casitas are very nice with the shaded court yards and fountains

We stayed in Casitas 4 overlooking the quiet pool. Very beautiful! This was a short trip so the walking didn't bother us.

i have only stayed in the cabanas, and so don't know much about the castitas except they look so beautiful across the lake at night (a reason to stay in the cabanas if you are staying water veiw). Also, i like the cabanas b/c they are close to the small beach w/ hamocks. However, i walked aroud the entire resort last trip, and i did think the castitas w/ their courtyards are very pretty.

goofy4mickey48........the Casitas were beautiful, we had no complaints at all. We stayed in casitas 4 which was right near the quiet pool and a 5 min walk to the Dig Site and El Centro. I just want to try the Cabanas this time for different scenery.

What about Ranchos? Are they really far From pool and pepper market? Could anyone compare with the distance at CBR of Trinindad South? That was the only area of CBR that I thought was a little too far removed from everything. Otherwise I like the idea of being somewhat removed from all of the actionand I though Ranchos looked nice.
