Okay, I just thought this was kind of funny. This girl at my work that is CONSTANTLY on the phone is calling everyone she knows telling them how Disney is buying out Great America (and all of the other Six Flags parks). :lmao::rotfl2: Yeah, right!!

I would be less then excited for Disney to do any additional expansion outside of their current holdings. They need to manage what they currently have, bring back the magic and excitement before they take on anymore. If they did take on more, it would only dillute the value of their entire portfolio.

I totally agree!! Plus, Six Flags is just so...NOT Disney. Their parks have don't have much theaming, it's kind of like a big slab of asphalt with some rides on them (at least Great America is). Although some of the roller coasters are fun...Disney is SO much better!

These are like the countless rumors that Disney is buying land in different states and/or Sea World properties. Probably not ever going to happen, especially in this economy.

I kinda wish they would... there is one an hour away from my house. It would take a really long time to do, and cost alot of $$$$. It's really not worth it.
