Verbascum-Also called Mullein. These are large plants both tall and wide, some varieties can grow up to 100 inches.
I have a perennial variety that has yellow flowers with a hint of purple in the center. The flower resembles delphiniums, custers of flowers on tall stems. Some varieties are biennials. Plant in sun and ordinary soil.
They are a great background flower with very sturdy flower stems.
