Well my DD has a favourite doll, Megan. She is seriously in love with her :lmao: and she never leaves her side. Well this doll is seriously filthy, I mean filthy! so I've just took my life in my hands and prised the doll out of my sleeping daughters arms and thrown her in the washing machine!! I hope she makes it to the other side and Evie doesn't wake up any time soon crying for her!!
Wish me luck!! :rotfl2: :scared1:

I know how you feel :rotfl: My dd is 4 and has a pink winnie the pooh, affectionately known as "pink pooh". she has to have that to sleep and if not nobody is going to get any sleep.
A few weeks ago she was sick in the night and it went on pink pooh so he had to be washed in the middle of night and she was crying for ages. Luckily he is full of beans and comes out the machine almost dry so she stayed awake for the hour it took to wash him:rotfl2::rotfl2:.
i dread to think what will happen if we ever lose him, she has a teddy the same in blue but is just not good enough

My DD had a yellow duck soft toy which she would NEVER let leave her side. It was a gift for her first birthday from a friend, and I had to ask them where they got "Ducky" from, because if we'd have lost it she would have been absolutely distraught. Fortunately we picked up a couple of "spares" so Ducky always magically appeared if misplaced!
Hope Megan makes it through the wash okay!

Good luck Verity! I hope Megan makes it out of the machine in one peice. Harley has a Dolphin from Sea World that he calls "Dolphy" he is filthy but there is no way that I would ever attempt to put it in the machine as the Shamu that we had came out with a pink belly, the stuffing inside it was red can you believe!! Dolphy just wouldn't be the same with a pink tint! :)

this makes me smile :goodvibes My dd has a soft bunny who really needs washing but she never puts him down and she's such a bad sleeper at the min I wouldn't dare do him at night as we would be found out !!! ds had a teddy when he was small and I managed to get 3 the same and in theory one was in use, one was to replace the one in use so it could be washed and the third was for emergencies ... however, he ended up taking all 3 to bed and 17 years later he's still got them :rotfl: although they are at the back of his wardrobe !! ;)

Well you will all be relieved to hear (;)) that Megan has survived!! She is even still "talking" after her ordeal. She's just drying off now and will be back with rightful owner asap!

I have a teddy bear called Sean I was given for my 1st Christmas when I was 2 months old by a now dearly departed unvle. He still live sin my bed and I never travel without him, even for 1 night. That bear has been to WDW, DLP, Vegas, Anaheim, LA and all over the UK! He's filthy but way too delicate these days to survive a washing machine.
