We just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay at the Poly, and I'm ready to see my photopass photos. I have the link to the preorder, but am looking for some advice...

1. Am I understanding correctly, that you can not upload your own photos to the photopass CD? In other words, you may upload your own photos to the site only for use in the photobook or to purchase other merchandise, correct?

2. If you preorder the CD and photobook, do you have to pay for additional pgs. in the book after 20? I thought I read that there were only 4 pics allowed per pg. Is this true?

3. Would you recommend ordering the book.. I've done Shutterfly books and loved them.. is the quality comparable? I know the Disney pages/backgrounds are not available on Shutterfly.

4. Has anyone ever ordered the DVD?

5. Once they send you the CD, then you just have prints made wherever...correct?

We did not get a ton of photopass pics taken... a few at each park and a few at the Poly..I'm not exactly sure how many are on there total.. but I guess I could edit the photos with borders etc...and essentially come up with more..

Thanks for any help you can give!

I'm wondering the same thing about the quality of the photobooks. I am definitely going to pre order the CD, but am still contemplating whether or not to pre order the photobook. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

OP...I don't have many answers to your questions, but I do know once you get your CD, you may print them anywhere you like. As far as your 1st question, I was under the impression that you could upload some of your own personal photos to the CD but for some reason I think there is a limit as to how many pictures...like I said not completely confident in that answer. Hopefully someone else can answer that more accurately! Sorry that I'm not that much help.

1 and 2 and 5 are correct. The other ones I have not done. But the pictures are made for 5x7 prints. I know I've seen somewhere on here how to change it, but don't know how. So if you are making 4x6 or 8x10 pics with boarders you will lose part of the boarder. Good luck.

Thank you both for your replies. I went ahead and preordered the CD, but decided to go with Shutterfly for the book, only because of the limit of 4 photos per page, and the cost of extra pages...

I just spent a good deal of time adding borders and signatures to my photos.

So when I get the CD, and I want to print out 4x6 prints...will I lose my borders? Also, I would imagine all the ones I cropped, may be cropped further?

Can anyone tell me how to resize them to 4x6? I would really appreciate it!!!!!

I have made a couple of books and love the quality. It is nice to have the Disney backgrounds too. I did not have to pay for the extra pages on my prepaid book (shh). I did have to pay for extra pages on my non-prepaid book. You can get the pictures printed any size you want - pick the size when you upload to send to printer or store. Make sure you edit and enhance before you order - as they cannot be edited (at least they can't be enhanced) on the cd.

You should check out the photobooks though - I love them.

Thanks for the help. I am assuming then, that if I were to upload my pics to Walmart or Shutterfly, I can select 4X6 and they will print with the border in tact? I just don't want the borders or signatures to be clipped off after they're printed in 4x6. I also cropped some pretty close and don't want it to crop in any further.

I already pre-ordered the CD... Let's just hypothetically say I wanted to add in a pre-order for a photobook now... Could I still do it? I haven't put in my code yet. The only thing that's stopping me is the 4 pics per page thing.. I have quite a few pics and to include most of them would be adding lots of pages..

One more quick question.. if anyone has purchased the DVD movie, do you know how many pictures can it hold? I've read the site, but am not sure if the number is per chapter or total...

And can you only upload a certain number of your own photos onto the photopass site?

I've read the site for the last few hours.. and I'm still confused. :confused3

I think you can still order the book - I ordered the CD and book separately. Double check the photo per page limit - it seems like you can do more than four photos a page, but with unlimited pages I didn't really care. I added a lot of text and used some of my best photos as a full page all by itself. It looks great in the book and breaks up the photo overload. And I love being able to use the stock photos and Disney backgrounds.

Good luck -
