Does anybody know if the Tier you pick makes a difference with the DDP? Since Tier 2 costs more, does it also cost more meal credits? I know that one credit is per one serving, but is that for BOTH Tiers?

This is directly from the brochure, and the only mention of using DP credits:
If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, Picnic in the
Park may be used as a Quick Service Meal. Requires
one Adult entitlement per meal amount. For example,
a Meal for Three will require three Adult entitlements.
I would assume that means you can get whichever Tier you want.:thumbsup2
Just did this last week. Only 1 adult entitlement per person, just like a regular counter service.
Have fun.

Another questions about picnic in the park. Will they allow us to order the picnic for 3 when there are only 2 of us? I am ok with using 3 credits, but we only have 2 adults. I know I have heard it mentioned before that you can only order so many meals as there are people in your party to prevent sharing. Since the minimum is 3 for the picnic I am assuming it would be ok :confused3

I am wondering the same thing. We will have two adults and two children on the meal plan. I have heard that you can only order according to the credits listed on your KTW cards. Then I cannot use three adult credits to get the picnic?? I still do not understand why this meal starts at three people and not two. I guess I will find the answer to my question next week when I try to order this.

You can choose either tier.
Honestly, even then it's not a particularly efficient use of CS credits, from a $$$ standpoint. The higher tier is only about $10/person after tax, and adding more people reduces the value per person, as it's about $8/person after the first three.

I want to try this as well. I will be traveliung with a big group and i think finding a shady spot to relax will be easier for us than fighting for seats in a counter service place.
We are 3 seperate parties staying on 3 different reservations. The family of 5 can easily order the meal for 5.
The other 2 parties have only 2 ppl per reservation. Are they able to get the meal for 4 and pay with two different KTTW cards?
