We will be staying at Beach Club Villas. Are we allowed to use the community hall at Boardwalk Inn, since Beach Club doesn't have a community hall. My son likes the video games and ping pong table there. I was hoping the policy on community halls was the same as the pool policies - that you are allowed to "hop" from one resort to another.

yes not a problem.

while at SSR there were other member staying at other dvc resorts - generally OKW but some from VWL too. They were welcomed by the staff.

you can visit any community hall.

I find it odd and wrong that Beach Club members can use the Boardwalk Community House, but Boardwalk members can't use the Beach Club pool.

Stormalong Bay is a major selling point for BCV - Community Hall at BWV isn't.

When the Community Hall is too busy for Boardwalk Guest I imagine they would not allow it anymore. I honestly can't say I've seen more than a handful of people in any Community Hall ever.

It's not just Boardwalk owners who cannot use pool at BC, members not staying at BC or AK cannot pool-hop to these ( iirc same will be true at BLT ).

Pool hopping privileges have nothing to do with community hall use (or movie night) etc.

As pp mentioned, often there's really not many kids at any one time at the CHs whereas entire villas worth of guests may be inclined to pool-hop.
