Hi all,

Me, OH, DD7 and Nana and Grandad are off in less than 2 weeks and have 2 seperate bookings for rooms at the Hotel New York.

What is the best way to inform them that we are in fact one family so would like rooms near to each other if possible as Madelane likes to have Nana and Grandad near to her????

Should I contact the hotel directly or go through Disney?

Thanking you.

I was in a similar situation to you at the Santa Fe last year - 2 separate bookings, but we wanted rooms near each other.

I phoned the Santa Fe about 10 days before we went (the phone numbers for the onsite hotels are in our booking and contact information thread in the very useful information sticky :)).
I gave the hotel our 2 booking reference numbers, our surnames, and requested interconnecting rooms in a quiet block. The CM I spoke to at the hotel was lovely, and said this would be no problem. And we did get our interconnecting rooms as requested.

May do that myself, as I have to contact them for Cheyenne as we have 2 small groups ourselves going.

So it would be good to be near my brother and his 2 boys to help where necessary.

Although if his little one is a midnight moaner might be best to be on the other end of the complex. :rotfl:
