Cast: DH & I who haven't been to WDW since we were teens w/parents & DS is 2 yo.
I've been planning since last July, DH just follows along and DS doesn't know what he's in for!

Day 6 Tuesday June 4 - Chef Mickey, Epcot FW

Today is 7:15am wake-up, we get to Chef Mickey's about 8:40. What a great time! First, we see Goofy in the waiting area. He rubs DS on the head, so cute. Then we are seated & Mickey comes right away! DS was a little shy, but I have a few good pictures. Then we get some food, they have everything! Then Minnie, Pluto, Dale & Mickey again! DS even twirled his napkin around, it was really cute.
Now we are off to Epcot. We get to Living Seas about 10:30 & wait about 5min or so. DS wasn't very excited about the aquarium  . We go to SeaWorld here in San Diego a lot, so maybe he is spoiled with it? Next Imagination with Figment. DS didn't care for this either. Some of it was dark & loud. We didn't know what was going on. Then we ate at Electric Umbrella about noon. It wasn't crowded yet, and the food was very good. Now we go to Energy, uh-oh! It was dark & very loud. DS kept saying 'I dont want it anymore'. He liked the dinosaurs, then it was dark again and he said 'I want it all done' , we felt terrible. We brought his flashlight, but it didn't do any good. I think it was the large screens & the noise. Needless to say, we decide to skip Spaceship Earth, and we leave, after stopping in MouseGears.
After resting a bit, we swim again then go to Ohana at 5:30. No PS, no problem. The food was sooo good. The service was great too. It wasn't loud or crowded. DS & DH even played in the coconut race. We had to skip the pineapple desert though because DS had had enough this day! He just would not stay in his seat, so we left. We went to the arcade for a bit, then to the room. About 9:00 we grab desert & go to the beach tonight for the FW & EWP. It was so pleasant.
Overall Epcot was a bust, oh well, we tried! We had a very nice evening, no running around back to the parks. Change of plans, tomorrow is now designated a sleep-in day, we are whipped!

I'm sorry to hear your day at EPCOT turned out like that. At least Chef Mickey's sounded like it went well.
