Do you think new, but broken in sneakers or Keens (Venice H2) are better for WDW walking?

I think it depends on what you are most comfortable wearing. Both would be good, supportive walking shoes.

I am a sandal wearer myself. When we first went to WDW I heard about all the walking and thought that I should wear sneakers, but I was miserable wearing them. The next time I brought a variety of sandals (all athletic, supportive styles) and was so much happier.

I was there for a week in March and I wore croc flip flops the whole time. No problems.... great foot tan lines!

I finally broke down & bought a pair of keens before our trip last year and I will never ever take sneakers again! Totally comfortable, fast drying, light.... I can't say enough about them. Worth every cent!

I wear both.

I did notice on my last trip that black from the inside of the Keen Venice was rubbing off onto my pedicure and then I couldn't get it off so I'm thinking my Keens may need replacing.

I have worn both and prefer the Keens.....but I do also bring moleskin. The Keens are supportive but I do sometimes get Hot spots so putting a bit of moleskin saves the day.

I just bought the Keen enclosed support sandals. I am wearing them in the house because I always need to wear something with support all the time. I am taking the Keens and New Balance sneakers for our trip in June. Because the Keens are so sporty and enclosed I am wearing little booty socks with them. Yes they do leave black marks. But they are great for comfort and support for anyone they suffers from heel pain.

I wore Keens for six days on our last trip. Brought the sneakers "just in case." Never needed to take them out of the suitcase. Have fun!

I think Keens are great, but especially in the summer when you might be more apt to go on waterrides, get wet near fountains, etc. I suffer from heel pain and need good arch support so they really were a great find for me.

Note - even though these are sandals w/ ventilation, hot spots are still possible! I use "body glide" in conjunction w/ wearing Keens.

Keens are great! So are croc flip flops! :rotfl: I would also bring a pair of tennis shoes and alternate!

I'm a Keen's girl- they can get wet. That blows my sneakers away. And I alternate with my Croc Flip Flops. I Think switching off your shoes every other day is a plus.

My vote KEEN'S!

I haven't found many keens in local stores so I was thinking of ordering them online.

Are they true to size?

it depends what you feel comfy in. but keep this in mind. if it rains while your wearing sneakers.... wet shoes and socks all day.

I found them to be true to size. They are a bit wide though, I have narrow feet and it doesn't bother me, I just pull the straps tighter. I LOVE EM'!
