hi everyone

has anyone been to the character meals in the inventions restaurant in the disneyland hotel lately if so how much did the meal cost for adults and children.did many disney characters appear and what time do you think is best to book dinner for and in your opinion is it worth the price.also if anyone has been to cafe mickey and the lucky nugget saloon what times are best to book dinner for in cafe mickey and for lunch in the lucky nugget saloon and is it best to ask to be seated downstairs in cafe mickey.any suggestions opinions and helpful tips will be of great help thanks.

Our meal at Inventions consisted of 2 adult buffets, 2 kids' buffets, 1 soft drink, and 1 mineral water. It came to EUR 151. We met 5 characters.

Our meal at Cafe Mickey consisted of 2 kids' menus, 2 mains, 2 desserts, and 1 soft drink and 1 mineral water. It came to EUR 99. We met 6 characters, and sat downstairs in the conservatory.

We ate at 18:30 at both restaurants, as we did throughout our stay. The restaurants were fairly quiet when we arrived, then filled up quickly. People without reservations weren't having trouble being seated when we arrived at CM. When we left, both queues were very long. I'd definitely stick with that slot in the future.

The food at both places was good, but I wouldn't be willing to pay that much for a buffet again - and I live in an expensive country. I had read that character interaction was better at Inventions, but we didn't really find any difference between it and CM.

Inventions was 51Euro a head for adults and 20Euro a head for kids over 2 years, in CM it depends on what you have but there is a set 3 couse menu for 30Euros.
We booked both before we went and I would advise to do this, we ate at Inventions at 8.00pm and at CM at 7.00pm was pretty busy at both places but for us the character interaction was much better at CM where we met 11 characters at Inventions we met 6.
