I was wondering if there were people out there that auditioned for character performer and didn't receive that role but were still accepted into the program for another role. How long did it take after the audition did it take for you to find out that you were in. I went to the Audition in Chicago 3.5 weeks ago and I am going crazy...Thanks...

For me, it took 5 days to know that I was accepted. They were probably fast on the decision making because the audition was April 8th, a bit late in the game.

I found out about 5-7 days after the audition I didn't get performer, and I got my letter about 3 weeks after the audition (I got character attendant).

Joanna, which audition did you go to?

I'm trying ot figure out if they are sending out any news yet to people who were at auditions March 29 or later... can you tell I'm impatient?

I got my rejection e-mail a week to the day after the audition, then a week after that e-mail (2 weeks after the audition) I got my packet. So it is probably just the last rush to get everything out and it being busy and all. don't worry. You might call if it has been 3.5 weeks though.....that is a long time. But they did say it would take a while, people wait a month sometimes. Try to be patient, I know it is hard though!!!! Good luck let us know!!!
Have a Magical Day!!!

Hi! I auditioned in Chicago on the 29th! I got the e-mail about character pool the friday after that and told them I didn't want to wait in the pool the same day. I got the acceptance e-mail a week and a (business) day after that on the monday! You have been waiting a long time, everyone I know from the Chicago audition has heard at least something more by now. I would contact them if you haven't already. Although everyone I know from the audition is doing advantage, as am I so maybe since advantage is coming up so quickly they contacted advantage people first? I'm not sure what season you're doing, but I would still contact them!

Ya, I'm doing the regular Fall Program. I heard a week after the audition that I didn't make character performer but I haven't heard anything since. If I don't get anything in today's mail I will consider calling Disney tomorrow. Thanks for the support!

That's probably why you're waiting so long, since you applied for fall. I applied for Fall Advantage, so it was imperative for them to let me know ASAP. My mother was telling me that Disney is probably trying to get the Fall Advantage situated first, before they start taking care of the people in the Fall program.
