Since no one responded to my 3400 mark that I posted on the "Doing the Happy Dance" I am posting it here. I always had comments when I posted on this part of the forum and enjoyed reading them, but "some moderator" told me to use the "Doing the Happy Dance" one. Well since posting my 3400 mark on there on 4/7 and not a peep. I guess thats more of a "back burner". Anyway,,,Today I hit the 3500 mark on EE. šOš

I am stupid -- what does this mean?

(Congratulations, whatever it is!)

I think he means that he has ridden EE 3500 times.

Congratulations.

I know of a guy that has ridden Millennium Force at Cedar Point 3000 times. His name is Single Rider Bob. He wears a bright florecsnent yellow shirt that says single rider on it. All the ride operators know him and if they spot his shirt they send him to the next empty seat for one.

"Some moderator" is a volunteer who works very hard to do his/her job on the forums for no pay. Cut them some slack. ;)

And by the way - your 3500 mark is an amazing thing! Congratulations! :thumbsup2

Woweee- I'm jealous. I've ridden only around 200 or so. Hope to see you soon. With grad school starting my trips probably won't be so frequent this year.

First of all, congrats on the milestone!!!

Now, HOOOOOW did you do it?? I did some math.. you would've had to ride it 3.5 times per day, every single day since its opening - insane! Tell us the story :)

One thing I've been wondering is, do you go every single day? Do you wear anything distinctive? We'll be going to AK a total of 6 times during our next trip (21 days long! :yay:) and I'll try and spot you if I can. :thumbsup2

I do go just about every day.(at least 5 days a week) Most times ridin in one day was 58. numbers vary from day to day depending on crowd and weather. I wont go if its raining. But been like I said just about every day since moving here from upstate NY almost 18 months now. And YES,,,I have documentation by the CM's. They are always checking my clicker and verify with other CM's what the numbers read. Then I get a FP signed by the CM's in the loading and unloading area for every 100 runs. Just ask ILOVECOASTERS...She can also confirm. šOš

I usually go 5 days a week. My off days are Wed and Fri (I work at a car auction on those days) I also wont go if its raining. You can find me easy,,,,just look for the guy wearing a "clicker/counter" around my neck. If you dont see me just ask the CM's if I'm there. They will know if I am or not. Or,,,just send me a PM and let me know when you will be there. šOš

Don't worry, I never doubted the validity of your claim for a second! So now a few questions out of curiosity...

What's the longest you've been "stuck" on it for? Have you ever had to evacuate? Is the Yeti in full operational mode yet? Any cool stories?

WOW!! Congrats on reaching an amazing milestone! :woohoo:Maybe a crazy question but does the ride ever become boring or not as exciting after riding that many times??

So far I've been stuck "in the mountain" twice that we had to be evacuated. It was where the shadow yeti is. It's 17 flights of stairs to walk down. You see some tech stuff along the way but they dont let you take photos of use your cell phone. The Yeti (Betty) is still in the "B" mode (strobe lights). She has a crack in the foundation and hasn't worked in a long time now. Also got stuck on the "B" lift (that's the big one). Had to wait maybe 5 minutes but the ride started again. Also got stuck several times coming round where you are about to see the Yeti itself. Those times are brief. Maybe 1-2 minutes. I've also been in the "tower" where the ride is controlled. It's neat,,,has 16 TV monitors that watch areas of the ride. Sometimes when I'm riding with someone I tell them to wave to the camera,,,lol šOš

Boring??? Hell no,,,I'm like a 57 year old kid with a new toy. I get more fun out of hearing the screams and especially like it when I ride with a newbe who's never ridin it yet. I had one family going when I told them that when the train goes in the mountain, the cars come apart and go all different directions and then come together before it comes back out. They TOTALLY believed me....LOL. I finally told them i was picking on them. šOš

Go for it!!!! Just make sure she gets a "counter/clicker" and make sure the CM's keep tabs on her. Also make sure she gets some kind of documentation after so many rides. I get mine every 100 runs. Where will you be moving to? Better get AP's if she plans on going alot. Keep me posted when you get here and we can all meet at AK sometime. šOš

I rode this for the 1st time at the end of october. I did the single rider line, and i was sitting with a man that had been on it a ton of times and i told him it was my 1st time..so when we came to the part of the ride where the yeti had "ripped" the tracks up he told me that it continues to go up the tracks even though there are none there!!! I said "really"? haha could this have been you??

His name is James from St Pete. Last time I saw him there was last year (April 7th 2008) for the 2 year anniversary of EE. He may have been there since but not on days I was there or he may have come in after I left. šOš

Sure can! We've missed each other the past fews times, but the CM's always tell me you've been around. I call you "Clicker Man" and they smile.
