Hi,
We will be hitting DLRP for just one day (wish it was more!) when we are in Paris in June. I'm wondering if there is a touring plan for the park, similar to the Unofficial Guide's one-day touring plans for the various parks in Florida.
Or, if not, do any of the regulars have a preferred order of hitting the various attractions? We will arrive before opening and can stay the whole day.
TIA! :goodvibes

There aren't any touring plans that I can think of.
DLRP doesn't open as early as the other parks, so you don't get quite the same advantage of being at the park for opening as you do in the US parks.
i assume you're not staying in a Disney hotel and don't have a dream annual pass, which would rule out Extra Magic Hours.
With this in mind, the best advice is to just pick your favourites and work through them. Try and make the best use of fastpass you can - don't forget that you can get another fastpass 2 hours after you collected the first, even if it hasn't expired yet.
Pick your favourite ride and head to that land for rope drop - be prepared to run if it's a popular one as the rides get busy quickly.
I would suggest leaving Fantasyland and Buzz / Space Mountain until late in the day as you won't be there for EMH - these rides will be busy even before rope drop as EMH builds up the queues quite quickly.

wow, that sounds good to do both - how easy is it to switch parks? And can I get a one day ticket that allows hopping?
I feel like such a newbie after years of feeling superior in my WDW knowledge!

Yes you can get a park hopper ticket and its about 5 minutes walk between parks

Park hopping is very easy - it's no more than 5 minutes walk from one park to the other.
Personally though, if you've only got a single day, I would consider ignoring the Studios completely. It can be hard enough to get a large amount of the main Disneyland Park done in a single day if the queues are busy, but when you include the Studios as well, it becomes an almost impossible task.
However - if you manage to run out of things to do in the main park (perhaps if you don't want to do Fantasyland or many of the other popular rides) then heading to the studios for a while is a very realistic option - I'd just personally make the Studios my reserve rather than my first stop on a one day visit.
