Apologies if this info has been posted elsewhere, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
Just phoned DLP to get some prices and got the Euro face value for the HB+ and Premium vouchers. They are:
Half Board Plus
Adult : £21 = 26 Euros
Child : £10 = 12 Euros
Half Board Premium
Adult : £36 = 46 Euros
Child : £13 = 17 Euros
By my calculations, you get more Euros per pound if you buy Premium vouchers, so makes them even better value.
I am going to buy the Premium vouchers for my 4 night stay, as I reckon I might be able to get 5 meals out of them if I use them at face value at the cheaper restaurants:
Buffalo Bills, Cafe Mickey, Lucky Nugget, Annettes and La Grange

Will you be able to do that at somewhere like Annette's?
That's included.
I'd think that they wouldn't allow more than 1 person to use the voucher.

Got this link from DLPdaft.

Seems to have Annette on all choices. Thought Premium or Plus would include all standard ones.

The Official Brochure says:
"Half Board Meal vouchers are also accepted for their monetary value in most fine-dining restaurants, Character Meals and Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show (except Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood, King Ludwig Castle and Mc Donalds)."
I have also emailed Disney to confirm if they can be used at face value at Annettes - I will post when I receive a reply. But I reckon if I get an email confirmation, and take the brochure page with me, then that should get round any problems I might have in the restaurants!

The premium vouchers are a brilliant buy on the price difference, shame only buying HB+

I've just finished booking my holiday - 4 nights Admirals Lakeside Room at Newport Bay Club with Premium Half Board!
The CM I spoke to confirmed that you can use the Premium vouchers at face value in any of the restaurants (including Annettes). So I reckon I should be able to save enough vouchers to get a cheap meal on my 5th day before coming back to London on the Eurostar.

Just to add i tried to use my HB Premium vouchers in Annettes in January and they told me they only accepted HB standard or Plus so i had to pay cash in the end.
ETA- You will find some CM's say one thing while some say different. Lack of communication is a huge problem at Disney.

Woo glad someone has finally found out this information!!
We have HB Premium for next month, just need to work out where we're gonna eat for our anniversary meal seeing as California Grill have changed the menu and it doesn't look that appealing anymore :(:(

Did you use HB+ vouchers at Walts (I know you have just come back).
Did you feel there was a nice choice on the HB+ menu there?

We used HB plus at Walts for full value. We had a delicious meal from the set menu. My hubby (vegetarian) both had the goats cheese to start ( abit like caprese) , I had the chicken in marsala sauce and hubby had the Ravioli followed by cheesecake and warm chocolate fondant. We loved it!
Auberge has some excellent reviews in our review section, and I wish I had eaten there instead of lucky nugget which was awful :sad2:
At Walts, our three course meal included drinks, and we paid a little extra (around 7 euros for a tea and a coffee) which I felt was terrific value, especially as we had a table overlooking main street and were able to watch the parade. :thumbsup2

We have a four nights stay later this year, Im interested in how you get 5 meals out of 4 vouchers.
I had been advised on another thread to not use a voucher at the low cost restaurants so that we can double up vouchers.

I was going to use vouchers for Buffalo Bills and Cafe Mickey in the normal way. Then I was thinking of using the vouchers at face value at Annettes a couple of times (I reckon one adult and one child voucher should be just about enough to cover a meal) leaving two adult vouchers which could be enough to cover something like the Lucky Nugget Saloon or Billy Bobs La Grange - I might just need to add a quid or two here and there, but not a great deal. On my 5th day, because we don't get back into London until late, it would be nice to have a decent meal before we leave DLRP.
However, I am having second thoughts about Lucky Nugget now after reading about it the last couple of days.
I am now starting to think again about meals - I am now tempted to go Buffalo Bill's, Cafe Mickey, Inventions, and Blue Lagoon.
Too many options, too little time!!! And I thought buying Premium would make things easier....

I know what you mean when you say too much choice too little time.
We eat at the Lucky Nugget last time we went, so we werent looking at going back. However I would say we enjoyed it!!!!
We have half board plus (but am now thinking the premium would have been better)
We were looking at
Rendez Vous Des Stars (paying cash)
Cafe Mickey (pay a little extra)
Auberge de Cendrillion (double vouchers)
Parkside Diner (stay at New York)
Not sure what we wanted to do on the last day, although Walts sounds good.

We are using half board premium in a few weeks, for the very first time. We are going to try California Grill, Buffalo Bills, Walts and either Blue Lagoon/Manhattan restaurant (Not decided on that one yet!).
My only issue is that Walts is on half board+ as well as premium, so can someone advise me what the best course of action would be when we go there? It just feels wrong to have paid for the more expensive vouchers when the half board set menu for them is the same as the cheaper vouchers. Would using them at face value be the best thing do you think?

Hi
I am also wondering if using premium vouchers at Walts makes financial sense.
Someone please say yes as it looks a lovely restaurant but dont want to waste money!!

I was wondering the same about walts, do you think maybe you'd get more drinks included? Or a different menu? because some of the restaurant menus i've been looking at on here have two set menus so I thought maybe one would be for plus and one for premium??? So confusing!!!!!! :scared:x

There are 2 different set menus for Walts for either the plus vchrs or prem vchrs.
From memory the plus was ceasar salad/soup for starter, chicken or veggie pasta for main and cheesecake/chocolate fondant for dessert.
Premium was ceasar salad/scallops/some prawn thingy!! mains were fish/t bone steak/ something else and a veggie option and you could choose any dessert of the menu.
I used my prem vchrs one day at Walts and it was one of the most wonderful meals I've ever eaten.:)

Just to update from my original query above, we did go to Walts on our last trip with half-board premium, and it was by FAR the best meal of our whole trip! :goodvibes You MUST eat here at least once, it was gorgeous!

So pleased I saw this thread. We've bought premium vouchers for our stay which is 4 nights, 5 days. We won't be eating per se the first night as we don't arrive until late so it will be a counter service snack at best. There are 4 adults and one child with vouchers (she's 4 yrs).
I'm still really confused about this face value thing and how it works. Can any kind person help me on what is the best way to use my vouchers with what I've booked - I'd guess that Inventions & Auberge would have to be full vouchers - not face value?? If we want additional drinks with these meals will we have to pay extra - presume you just get your one soft drink??
Sun - snack - no voucher used
Mon - Auberge - full vouchers used??
Tues - Inventions - full vouchers used??
Weds - Walts - face value or premium menu as above?
Thurs - Cafe Mickey (lunch before leaving) - guessing we'll have to use full vouchers here but how :confused3 Is there a premium menu here too?
Not entirely sure we're getting the best out of our vouchers with the we've booked our meals as I suspect we'll have a voucher left at the end of Cafe Mickey...
Finally, can anyone tell me what the child's menu is in Walts? It may be that my DD's voucher is totally wasted here? Could all the adults eat of the premium menu but she just eat off the child's menu and we just pay for hers? Would that be best do you think???
You see, I'm totally :eek::confused:

Yes it will be the full voucher for Auberge and Inventions but both of these are more expensive than the voucher so its worth it. You get a soft drink included but then would pay extra.
Why will you have a voucher left after cafe mickey? There is a premium menu but you can use them at face value to order what you want
The childs menu at walts is 3 course with a starter, a choice of 3 mains and a choice of 3 deserts. It is all served together on a Mickey plate

I doubt we will want to eat off the premium menu at Cafe Mickey as we are heading off the airport after that - don't want to feel too stuffed :lmao: So, we probably will order at face value but then I would think you'd need to eat an awful lot to rack that up at Cafe Mickey :confused3 That was my thinking for probably having the child's voucher left - plus having read the recent reviews, it certainly springs to mind as that's what a few people found on 'face value' with a larger party number....
I agree about Auberge & Inventions as I knew they were more expensive - so I guess any extra drinks we just pay for which is great value :)
I doubt DD1 will eat a whole 3 courses at Walts but then we didn't buy the vouchers thinking they'd be value for her - it's the adults really where the value comes in... :thumbsup2
