Hi!
I'm new to this site, so I don't know if this has been done before, but is anyone interested in posting their "TOP 5's"? I mean rides by the way. Ever since our trip, Mrs Lenny & me alway play top 5 rides, favourite park, best single thing etc. Well, it whiles away the time & theres not a lot to do here! So here goes:
Lenny's top 5 rides;

1) Amazing adventures of Spiderman (IOA)
2) Countdown to Extinction (AK, although I understand they have now changed this & made it a bit wimpier!)
3) Popeye & Blutos Bilge Rat Barges
4) Muppets 4D (MGM)
5) Small World (MK) (so I'm a big kid!!!)

My fave park overall was IOA, Mrs L's was Seaworld. And as you can see, we're both big girls blouses & dont do rollercoasters! But determined to do TOT & Test Track next time.

Hi Lenny :) - we're always up for some faves :) !! ( I'm leaving out shows and parades and sticking to attractions .............. )

1. Splash Mountain........
and then the next four in no particular order:
Spiderman, Journey To Atlantis, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Test Track

I have a big problem choosing a fave park - either Epcot or Magic Kingdom ... I'm also a great fan of Animal Kingdom but for me, that new section in Dinoland USA just has to be the worst thing I've ever seen Disney create.

I know what you mean. Every park has some fab bits, so narrowibg it down is hard. We didnt get to do much at Epcot, it was just sooooo big & we ran out of time! Thats why we wil have three weeks this time. Animal kingdom was incredible, but we were up so early to get there we spent most of the day sleepwaking! But my wife loved the Gorillas. She could just sit & watch them all day.
Whats the bit at AK you don't like? It was 3 years since I went so is it a new section?
The worst bit for me was MGM. The park was great, but it just seemed so confusing to get around! We kept looking at the map all day & always seemed to miss the ride we were looking for!

Lenny, the new section of Dinloand is Chester and Hester's Dino-rama, which is supposed to and does resemble a fun fair - you know the type of thing? Triceratop Spin and Primeval Whirl are the new rides in this section - it's rather like the fun-fair section at some of the UK theme parks - or old-fashioned seaside funfairs.
We thought it looked very tacky and oh so out of place in a classy WDW park.

Oh my...that's a toughie, let me think....

1. Rock n Rollercoaster - that start scares the hell out of me every single time, but I love the coaster!

2. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - my 'nostalgia' ride. I don't know why, but I just like this ride big time and I was disappointed I didn't get a chance to go on it on my last flying visit. I especially like riding it at night :D

3. Spiderman - awesome combo of ride and simulator!

4. Space Mountain - much the same as Big Thunder...I just can't imagine going to MK and not riding this ride!

5. Hmmmm...The Kilimanjaro Safari's...not strictly a ride I suppose, but I just love seeing fluffies :D :D :D

Hi Lenny

My all time number one has to be Big Thunder - I was absolutely gutted when it was closed for rehab throughout our last trip - can't wait for December!

2. Splash Mountain

3. Winnie the Pool (well, I love him!) ;)

4. Peter Pan

5. the ride in Mexico in EPCOT - can't remember the name!

Can't you tell I'm a softie and not into the 'big' rides! :D
