Are you permitted to use the DDP for your child's participation in this?

No, you can't. Special meal events (with the exception of the Fantasmic and Candlelight Processional packages, and the Grand Gathering special events) are not included in the dining plan.

I'm guessing the Alice in Wonderland Tea Party at 1900 Park Fare. Last summer it was about $45/child.

And it's open to children only, no parents allowed. It looks like the price has gone up since this blurb was posted. There is also a Perfectly Princess Tea Party which costs a good deal more, but each child gets her own princess doll, and adults may attend that one.
