DD will be 2 1/2 when we go in August. She sits in a regular chair when we go out now, but I was thinking about our ADRs and what would help make things happen when I call. Should I make the ADR for 2 + 1 high chair or should I do 3 chairs? Thanks!!!

It doesn't matter. When my baby was not yet born and I was making ADRS for our trip when she was 7 weeks old, the cms all said it didn't matter how old she was she counts as a person.

Great, thanks!! I know that at some restaurants here they can only put high chairs in certain locations in the restaurant so sometimes you end up waiting longer for a table. But I thought maybe it'd be easier to get an ADR for two adults plus a high chair. Thanks again for the info!

Just FYI: just be sure to include her on the ADR. Last May I was checking into Le Cellier behind a family that had apparently not included their little one in the ADR. The CM was not very nice about it, especially when the mom finally told him that she had intentionally not included the child, because if they had, they would not have been able to get a table for their party size when they first called to make ADRs. She said it shouldn't matter and the little one would just sit on her lap. The CM finally let them in, but was very stern with them telling them that even a small baby in arms would have counted. This child was about 2 y/o by the way.
