Car Hire

Hello,

I am looking for a national car hire firm that I could possibly use to hire a people carrier from my local area and then hand back at Ashford when we get there. Most I know you can only pick up and drop off to the same place.

Any help would be appreciated :thumbsup2

A silly question but how would you get back from Ashford?

Not sure what hire companies there are at Ashford, Hertz rings a bell & i'm sure you can drop it off at another garage, it may cost more though.

Years ago we hired a car from a local car hire to get us to the airport, from where the car was collected.

Then when we arrived back at the airport they had dropped the car there and it was waiting for us.

It just seems really silly to pay for a car hire for six days when most of the time it will be sitting in the car park.

Not sure if they do this now though.

I have used National (http://www.nationalcar.co.uk) in the past with no problems.
