I got accepted!

WOOOOH I just got accepted for the Disney Career Start program!!!:cool1::cool1::banana::banana::woohoo::w oohoo:
That means I'll be there for all of the COOL Podcast meets :cool1::cool1:. Its horrable because that is the first thing I thought of when I got my Letter. Not yay im working at Disney...but WOOT Pod Cast Meets!
I will be a Merchandise CM, I check in August 26th!!

My niece was in the program last year and also worked in merchandising, she had a great time. She worked in the stores on the right hand side of Main St. and sometimes was in the little kiosk when you first walk in (outside of Tony's).

Thanks guys! I am really excited about this opportunity. I've been working for a company ( THAT I LOVE) for almost 3 years now...and I work 6-7 days a week, depends on what kind of week it is. Its going to be hard because 1. I'm young...and 2. I've never left a job that I have been there for a long time. Ahh such a crazy time. I'm hoping to meet a couple dissers that I've met on here!

:thumbsup2Congrats!!! What age can you apply for this position? Is it after H.S or after college? My son is only 11 and for years he has talked about working for Disney. So I am hoping if he still wants to do this when he is done with school it is available. Any info you can offer about the program would be greatly appreciated. We live in NY, but love Florida and would love to move to Florida one day. Good luck and thanks.

You can start applying for the Career Start program after high school (if your 18), until 4 years after you graduate. If your son is planning on going to college he can do the College Program. The links to the different programs

Thanks for all the advice. I've been working for 3 years at a local Buffalo Wild Wings (LOVE MY JOB) and I hate that I am leaving. Im not afraid to work because its just how I am so I should be okay. I cannot wait to meet some of you guys!
