Difficulty getting a scooter on at POR?

We usually stay at POFQ and the bus comes there first. i have never had a problem getting the scooter on. My question is whether staying at POR which is the second stop for the bus will be a problem. Do they leave adequate room on the bus for a possible scooter at the next stop? Have you gotten right on at POR? Thanks so much.

Hi,
I can't help you with scooters per se, but POR and POFQ don't share busses first thing in the morning (park opening time) so I am thinking you would be OK. They do share busses later in the day, but the busses tend not to be as busy then. Also, when doing the regular loop during the day, the main stop is 1st at POR but when they are doing the morning pick-ups the main stop is last. They actually pick up at the West stop first, then North then East then the main depot. Most people think those people are from POFQ when they are actually from their resort. We got on everyday at the West stop to a completely empty bus. Hope this makes sense, if not please ignore. LOL

We were down March 27-29 and the bus always came to POR only, except one afternoon it dropped people at POFQ and we decided to get off there. This wasn't a crowded weekend either.

Our only problem was that buses were coming for all the parks except MK, so we took a bus to Epcot and then the monorail to MK.

The bus always stopped at the Main Bus stop first in the morning and when it returned from the park, they took different entrances.

If you are at a stop and they cannot take you the dirvers are supposed to call dispatch and a bus is supposed to be sent immediately to where you are.

When we were there (years ago, BTW) it was the opposite - the bus picked up around the loop in back, then came to the main stop. On the way back it stopped at POFQ then the main stop at POR, and then went who knows where, as we always got off at the main stop.

I was guessing maybe it had to do with the time of day and the driver and the route he was given. IDK, Each time we returned from a park we went in a different way, once first to POFQ and once we came in at what is the second stop at POR then to the 3 others, but not POFQ.

I have read that the buses always start at POFQ, but anytime we saw one coming, it camie in the main entrance and was empty :confused3

Have someone in your party (or you) ask the bus driver to call another bus for you. Sometimes the drivers don't think about making the call or don't notice you. Sometimes you have to be a bit assertive to get what you need.
