Unfortunately, the timing isn't right this year.

I am heading to MagicMeets again this year. It was so fun to meet all those podcasters last year. I wish the DIS Pod Team could go. I would buy Kevin dinner at Dockside Willies so he could do a review. http://www.docksidewillies.com/menu.html Amazing food!

I agree that it would be great to see the podcast team there. I would chip-in for Kevin's dinner.

That's the link. It is not sold out yet. Tickets are $60 which includes lunch. It's lots of fun. There are different guest speakers. There is also an auction. And they give away great door prizes.

Alas, my trip back East this summer doesn't match up well with Magic Meets, otherwise I'd definitely be there.

I would love to go. It's the easiest of the Disney Meets for me to get to from NYC. However, can't commit yet.

My DH and I are going. I know of three other friends from the DIS also attending.
Have you booked a room at the Radisson yet?

My sister just asked me to go to Magic Meets in Camp Hill, PA. Has anyone every been to this? It sounds like fun. I live about 2 1/2 hours from it but it is driveable for me.
Thanks
I see my post was merged with this one. I'm glad to see other people are going. I purchased tickets for myself and my older DD. But we are just going to go for the day. Sounds like it will be fun!

I have been each year for the past 3 years, and going back again this year.
It is close to 2 hours for me. I have never stayed overnight, just go for the main Saturday activities. It is a fun dose of Disney, since I can only go to WDW once a year at most.

Does anyone know how/when you can sign up for special events? We have paid and reserved our room but the registration page doesn't let me click on the events page. I've sent two emails to MagicMeets asking, but haven't gotten any reply. Thanks for any info.

Last year they allowed registration for the special event a few weeks after registration was sold out. I even believe that they send an e-mail letting you know when.
It was a great event last year and I am sorry to be missing it this year. It was nice to meet so many great people.

I was there last year, but it's not in the cards this year. It was a great event and to all who attend, have a great time. It's a really fun weekend!
The only thing I'd change is I wouldn't go to Hershey Park again. If you think Disney is expensive... :scared1: Hershey Park will make you wish you were paying Disney prices for food & drinks. If I were to go back this year, I'd take the chance to head down to Gettysburg instead.

And that is exactly what DH and I are doing. We lived in G'burg aver 25 years ago and are looking forward to retracing some of our old favorite locations.

We have not opened the events section yet as we are still pixie-dusting some of the events. As soon as all details for the magic are finalized we will be opening it.
As for your email I didn't see one from you, sorry you didn't get a reply.
