I know the resorts do some sort of bug bombing/spraying to deter the pesky mosquitoes...I am sure the theme parks do as well, but has anyone had any problems recently? Here in Illinois we have mosq. driving us crazy in the middle of the day already from all the rain we've had! I am planning on bringing repellant but just looking for a heads up. Thanks!

Universal has a pest control company under contract for all of the routine stuff. They also have their own mosquito spraying truck and treat the area after closing when it is needed. They have a water quality management department that keeps an eye out for mosquito breeding in the various bodies of water on property.

Hope that helps. Enjoy your visit.

You know, come to think of it, I've never been bitten or bugged by a bug at all at Universal.

Get those pest control people over to Sea World... they have rats. I'm serious too, last time I was there I saw a couple rats in some bushes by their BBQ!

I've never seen rats before!

Now at Cedar Point, I've seen a few bugs flying around. It's probably harder to do bug control there since it is by a lake. I've also seen a cat in the Breakers parking lot and a bird nest in the Corkscrew! :)
