When should I fax room requests for BWV?

I know, I made my requests when I booked last August. But my dad's back has worsened, and it more important now that we are closer to the elevators (last year we walked and walked....). We have a standard view 2BR booked. I also asked for nonsmoking and a higher floor (for the view) but this seems more important now. Dad may even bring his own wheelchair--he said he'd get one if he needed it at the parks, but I am worried about the walking around the BW area. I think he could also use it at the airport. It was actually my grandma's, but he saved it when she passed.
We check in July 7. When should I call/fax down there to ask for my requests again?

I would call member services and have your reservation record changed to include "for medical reasons". Then send a fax to BWV 4 or 5 days before your arrival. I believe the handicapped rooms are close to the elevator, if you don't want one of those, I would specify non-handicapped.
