Cross the borders at Lacolle or in Ontario

Hi,

I live in Quebec and will be driving to Disney soon. I usualy cross the borders at Lacolle,Qc and from there, it takes around 22 hours to get to WDW.

I talked to someone last week who told that he always go from Quebec to Ontario and then cross the borders and that this is a shorter trip.

How long does it take to you who cross in Ontario to get to WDW ??

Any tips or advices ??

WDWorld, my folks live just off the West Island of Montreal and always cross the border at the 1000 Bridge in Gananoque. Not sure if it is any shorter, but they avoid the whole Washington, Baltimore area. They pick up I95 about 40 miles south of DC in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

I'm in Trois-Rivieres. That is exactly what I was said... That this way they were avoiding these regions.

I'll buy a map and take a closer look at this.
