When you are on the DDP - we will be on deluxe but same difference - can you get your leftovers to go in a doggie bag? OR can you order your dessert to go and take it to your room to eat. I mean at Table service places of course.

We love dessert but sometimes DD does not like to sit still for an entire long meal so we take our desserts home (or in this case- back to the hotel room). Just wondering if this is allowed.

I know that there is no way to reheat the food in the room so I am just talking about cold foods/desserts.

Yes, we were offered doggie bags on several occasions. And we took dessert to go a couple of times or just bypassed it and got milkshakes to go instead once.

Yes, we have done that before...just don't do what we did and put it in your backpack and forget it's there till the next morning!

If you're staying in a room with a fridge, you could also take food that needs to be reheated. We did that at least once and just went to the Poly food court and nuked it in the microwave there. :)

We took leftover food to go even at CS..... but I'd say 95% of it ends up going to waste anyway!!! I think the grapes from the kid's meal were about all that we ever got around to eating later. I am thinking of trying to sub bottles of water for a cs dessert or two this time. I know H2O won't go to waste!
