Is it possible to have an appetizer on the basic ddp instead of an entree? I understand this is not cost effective but i can't eat big portions so usually just order an appetizer and dessert, i don't want too much food so it would make me happy if i was able to do this. Has anyone done this on the ddp?

It was the best option for our family of 7 to purchase the ddp here in england as the exchange rate is so poor, usually we just pay oop for what we want but cant afford to do that this year.

answers would be great... :)

I tried doing that at Kona in December and they wouldn't allow it. They said the system won't accept it.

Substituting an appetizer for dessert is never permitted, but ordering one instead of an entree may be. You'd have to ask because it's probably up to each restaurant.

If they don't, just order an entree and don't eat all of it.

seems like a lot of the appetizers are gigantic portions anyway. We found many of them seemed to be portioned for two or more people to share so not sure it would do you much good to order them instead of entrees anyway.
