What options were they talking about? We have always use Dining plan at Tokyo Dining(mostly with the Deluxe plan) The only difference between the 2 DDP is that with Deluxe plan, you get an appetizer as well. We were able to get anything on the entree menu. We often order the Shinjuku Gozen(sashimi and tempura combination box @$27-$28)

Not quite. At Tokyo Dining the only things that are part of the DDP are some of the entree options. The DDP does not cover individual sushi rolls.

I had the same question not too long ago and my fiancee and I decided to cancel our Tokyo Dining ADR because of it. I really wanted to volcano roll.

We dine there with DDP and can choose any of the entrees (there are about ten) on the menu. Can't get orders of sushi, though, so we just order some to share as an appetizer and pay oop for it. I've gotten bento boxes, gozen boxes, a tempura dinner, people with me have ordered grilled steak or salmon...

Isn't there a tempura and sushi combo? Is that available with DDP?

Ginza Gozan - tempura and sushi combo $24.95

I had that combo as my entree last year on the dxddp. We were also told we could have one of two sushi platters as an entree on the plan, but that may have changed now?

There is always confusion for Tokyo Dining, since you are presented with two menus. One is for sushi, and only two combo plates from that menu qualify as entrees on the DDP. The other is for tempura, grilled items, sushi/tempura combos and the like. Everything on that menu can be an entree on the plan.

I've ordered the Ginza Gozen (sp?) too, includes both sushi and tempura. Any other sushi or appys we pay OOP if we want them. I love the iced green tea!
