Wow, a september 2010 thread already? I thought I was the only one that planned ahead that far. LoL We just had a trip last month and are considering our next to be in september 2010. Our very first trip to WDW was in september many many years ago so I have alot to research. :)

I know it is way way waaaaay early but we are really excited to go now, have been doing a trip report from Dec last year, so it got us in the mood to start thinking about our next trip, we already know where we want to eat :D

Our v first trip was in September 2007 and it was amazing, the weather was beautiful and it was not as busy as Dec's trip (parks were heaving I tell you!).

Where will you stay if you go next year?

I soooo want to book our trip now, but there are no 2010 offers. Part of me thinks I should just book now and get our reservation for AKL and then change when the 2010 offers come out, but the other part of me wants to wait and see.

We just got back from our first trip and are thinking about free dining in Sept or early Oct. 2010 :banana:. We will be there! It will be our first trip to WDW EVER so I am very excited. DH and I have only been to Vegas and now we have 2 children (they will be ages 2 & 4) so I'm super stoked! DH isn't as excited but I'm sure he'll get there. We're driving from Wisconsin (I hate flying) and really hoping they do the free dining thing again (but planning on that not happening because that's just my luck). We'll be staying at a Pop/All Star resort... not sure which one yet though. Either the movies or century... I have begun to plan out our days, make a list of what to pack and figure everything out. My new DH and I booked our trip to WDW on Saturday!

We're going September 2010 as a joint Honeymoon/1st Anninversay (we just got married on Friday!).

We've booked the Coronado Springs and have taken the DDP as it would have come in very useful when we were last there - speant most of our money on food, drinks and ice cream (the rest on pins!).

We're already planning where we want to go and what we want to do like the Behind the Magic Tours or what costume we could wear to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party if it's on during our stay - I've already been a witch twice and my DH a cowboy and a pirate.

Just booked POP for Sep 17-25, 2010. Me, DD, DGD, and, hopefully, SIL. My SIL has never stayed on WDW property so it will really be a treat for her. We'll be a little crowded but we'll take turns sleeping on a blow-up mattress. Staying at POP means we can stay a couple extra days with the same budget, besides DGD LOVES POP. She is still talking about our 2007 trip when she was made "POP Star of the Day" at the Flower pool. :hippie:

I wanted a bounce back so bad!, but there was none for us according to front desk and reservation line. I know there were offers, but we didn't get one. Would love to book with free dining again. If it's not free, DH doesn't think it's worth it. :(

My DH and I are planning a Sept 2010 trip, we orginally wanted to go in June for our first Anniversary but decided to some money and go during a value season and hopefully a less crowded one. Now if only I could decide on a resort..every time I think I've picked one I read up or see pictures of another one lol...I've decided that the resorts are like picking a wedding dress..once you've found one, you really need to stop looking :rotfl:

If Disney offers the Free Dining promotion for bounceback, is it generally a good indication that this will also be offered to the general public for the dates as well ? it seems like for 2009 bounceback was offered in 2008 for free dining in 2009 and then it opened up to the public. I know, I'm SO wishful thinking for free dining Sept 2010 and all of you that got bounceback have me SO excited that it might be offered again!! :yay: it would seem odd to only offer it for bounceback wouldn't it ? Also, the UK websites are showing free dining for Aug / Sept 2010......if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it. ( I'm afraid to go ahead and book too soon I think!) :rolleyes:

They have offered free dining in the fall to everyone since 2005. Sometimes the dates change to everyone then what was offered to bounceback, I think. I believe it is quite possible to be offered to the general public. Normally the word leaks in March and bookings start in April. I'm waiting.....

Just got back a few days ago fro 10 nights of FD at Pop Century and booked the Free Dining Bounceback for Sept 26-October 10th. Also staying at Pop again. We need a single point bus stop resort due to two of us wheelchair bound.
Looking to compare prices if someone else has the same dates with 2 adults and 2 one day base tickets (AP holders). Still stuffed from eating our way through the resort, and starting to think ADR's already, sob....:goodvibes:goodvibes:lmao:

Just to let people know, that the shuttle is scheduled to launch on the 16th of Sept next year. We did see it once before when we were at Disney its really something to see.

That is good to know! Hopefully the weather will cooperate. We saw a shuttle launch from Tom Sawyer Island and it was cool to see with the Castle in front of it.

We're renting points and got the confirmation yesterday. We'll be at BCV starting Sept 8th for 14 days! My DH and I are more excited than the kids. Everytime I start talking about our upcoming trip my DS says, "Geez mom, I know you're stoked but there are other things to talk about." I don't know, are there?? :confused3 We really want to do MNSHP and head out the KSC again. Loved that the last time. Also want to check out Harry Potter at Universal.

We did MNSSHP with our 6 and 9 year old nieces in 2007. We let the girls guide us through the night. We think that we had as much fun as the girls. was well worth the cost, and we got to spend some much enjoyed time with our only two nieces. We hope that you have as good of a time as we did. :cheer2:

So, I have a question. if I went to Disney in May 2009, can I book a bounceback with Free Dining for Sept. 2010? I'm not sure I know the full details of the bounceback. I am also a Disney Visa cardholder and I went in Sept. 2007 using the Free Dining promotion.

For an answer to your bounce back question. Any bounce back offer has to be done before you check out of your room at the end of your stay. Usually the bounce back offers are for about 6-8 weeks. We went in Sept, 2009 and our bounce back dates we could choose from were 8-15-2010 - 9-30-2010.

I called twice today. The first CM just told me that she didn't have the official dates but it was ALWAYS the last weekend of September.

THEN I called again and after explaining what the Disney site was saying, she put me on hold and then told me they were going with the "official dates" of Sept. 24-Nov. 7 but that she was going to contact the website people and find out what was going on? Still not really an answer! :confused3

Well the Poly is one of the most romantic resorts, you can't help but feel the magic ;)

Have you checked out Tikiman's website? Is really detailed and informative on all the different LH's. I ended up requesting Aotearoa third floor, but have now made two requests, first one being Fiji third floor marina side and Aotearoa as a second.

I know some people are a bit skeptical when it comes to the dining plan, but trust me, it is so worth it. Not having to worry about have the extra cash to pay for dinner (only tips) is a good thing and also I figure you save quite a bit of money too as you don't have to worry about what you order and how much.

R&R on the beach sounds good, perfect way to end your vaca :)

I've been to disney 4 times and looking at 5. If they are going to do free dining It usually comes out the 1st week of APR. It goes to people with the disney credit card first, then to the general public. At least thats the way it has worked the last 4 yrs when we went on the free dining plan. NO you cannot bunch discounts ,such as AAA at 15% off room then add the free dining on top of that.

For those who booked bounceback from last year its 180 days out not 90 like last year. So hopefully we'll have our reservations done with before the free dining opens to the public !!!

And one more thing the space shuttle is scheduled to launch on the 16th of Sept. Yes you can see it go as you watch from disney !!!

Yes, it's pretty hot! We went mid-September in 2008 and you just get used to being wet from sweat the moment you walk out the door! ;) Lots of water and mid-day breaks are in order!

Yes! Not unbearable, but it is hot and humid. At least it has been the couple of times I've been in mid/late Sept.

MNSSHP is fantastic! We went last September for the 1st time and had a blast! I can't wait until they release park hours this year so we can finalize plans for our September 2010 trip!

We're planning on going sometime early September for 7-10 days. Have to look at WDW event schedule and plan around it to avoid crowds. Probably stay at POP as thats where we've stayed before and have had a great time.

Bus lines for POP have always been short except for after MNSSHP in 2007. All other hotels were short but POP was MASSIVE, backed up at MK all the way back past all other lines. After 30 minutes or so of waiting they finally started doubling up on buses and got the line moving. Hope its better these days!

I have a question not sure if anyone can answer, we have purchased the discounted park tickets through the military but Disney has allowed us to stay at the resort (POFQ) with 40% discount and purchase the dining plan. Now if they do the free dining do you think they will allow us to receive it free also? I know it sounds like I am being cheap and yes trying to be budget conscious in this day and age, but free dining is so wonderful. Any thoughts? Sorry one more thing. They will not allow you to "stack" discounts. Since you are already getting a discount off the room, you cannot get free dining. For the free dining packages, the room is at the rack rate then you get the dining plan at no additional cost.

Our family stayed at POFQ in Oct 2009 (I have stayed there two times previously). We loved the one bus stop and that everything is so close. The boat to Downtown Disney is also nice.

My Mom and I are staying at POFQ from September 10-13 (it's on her "bucket list"). Only two more days until I make my dining reservations.

It is a big resort! We took advantage of the golf cart limo's every chance we could! Roger that on the 180 ressies much easier than last year. The resteraunt at CSR was really good we ate there several times. Are you guys booking MNSSHP?
