I'm thinking it'd be nice to have a tea party or get together for my bridesmaids the day before the wedding. I don't actually like tea...but the concept is fun. :lmao:
Where did everyone go for your bridal get together? I thought the Grand Floridian had somewhere to go. I also thought it'd be kind of fun to make it like a "big hat" party or something.
Any pictures would be great too.
Thanks!

The Garden View Tea Room would be nice! that is where we had my daughter's bridal shower. They serve various types of tea in the royal albert bone china cups and saucers and you can pick from a menu what you would like to have. It is located right off the lobby.

We went to the Gardenview Tea Room at the Grand Floridian for my bridal tea. We booked it through the tea room manager since there were a bunch of us, (our wedding planner helped me get in contact with her).
I would post photos, but I don't want to post shots of folks without their permission... but you can see photos of the tea room here (http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=305).
You can't do games or open gifts there (which was good for me, since I don't like that stuff), and they had to seat us at two tables - which were side by side.
They were also able to accommodate my vegan friend. And my mom doesn't like tea either - but she had a great time.

I had a tea the day before my wedding at the Grand Floridian Gardenview Room. It was wonderful! It was just for the ladies attending the wedding and they all LOVED it. It was so much fun. We all wore big hats. Here are some pics.

I selected a menu for everyone ahead of time when I booked. I chose the Buckinham Palace menu for the adults and the Mrs. Pott's Tea for the kids. It doesn't seem like tea sandwiches would fill you up but you really do get lots of food!
Here are the menus you can pick from.

I would love to do it again. I had so much fun!

As Carrie informed me..page 144 of the Disney Weddings Passporter talks about the bridesmaid teas! I knew that I had read it somewhere....
Another reason to get the Passporter if you haven't already!
