Finally got my package in the mail today after a bit of last minute drama, thanks for helping Beth. :thumbsup2

The good news for me, I got the flat rate box and it was a bit too poofy and my "friendly" neighborhood postal employee told me it was unacceptable. So, I had to take an item out. So sad for my receipient, but a wee HAPPY for me!!!!

Is that bad that I am rejoicing? I guess I am a pig. Oh well, on a better note, I think I beat Stacie to the post office. Bring it on Babe---we are competitive like that!!!!;)

Alright, I got my box to the post office today; I know that one of the items I ordered online has been shipped, and I think the other has as well. I forgot to put a note in the box I sent, but my name is on the label so SHE will know who it came from.

No you're good--since WHO just changed the name from "swine flu" to Influenza Type A HNV1 or some such thing--something easily remembered. Because the pork industry is hurting now because people won't eat pork because they're afraid of getting the flu.

I think I was dead last to mail, but as of 4:35 today my package is at the main branch of the Las Vegas post office, so hopefully it will move through the system quickly! Meanwhile I tracked Part I today and it is scheduled to arrive at its final destination on Monday.

I'm looking forward to the Halloween exchange.:tinker:Me too! I love anything Halloween. It's my favorite holiday ever. (I think I've mentioned that once or twice. :rolleyes1 ;) )

I am already thinking ahead to things I want to send for that one. I get so excited when I see Halloween things in the store. I'm a sucker for anything in Halloween packaging. My DD is like "Why are you buying those cookies, or those paper towels when we don't need them??"
Well, duh, they are Halloween themed. :rotfl:

Some postal employees are picky and some aren't. In all the many exchanges I've done, I've had some tell me you cannot alter the shape of the box. And I've had others tell me shove in as much as you can, and as long as it's taped up good and tight, send it on.

Do you have the flu?:lmao:

I think I was dead last to mailNope. ;)

Thanks for checking in everyone! We have 3 more packages to go out, but I know two of them have asked for extended time for one reason or another so it's fine. And one of them was probably already mailed, so we're doing good!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2

I got my package today!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooooo excited to get it! I was a little confused tho, my exchanger sent my stuff in a Melaleuca box and I knew I had not ordered anything from them recently so I couldn't figure out what it was, until I saw her name on the envelope on top! LOL Vicki thank you so much, I loved everything!!! I was out of popcorn and she sent me a little box, which is my favorite kind too! lol Orville's movie theater butter flavor! YAY! Can't wait to have me some popcorn and add my white cheddar topping to it! YUM!!!!!!! I also got the cutest toe ring, some nail polish, a Tink beach towel, a Tink coffee mug (which is HUGE and will be perfect for my morning TEA!) and a little book w/a rose necklace for Rosetta, which my DD9 has already stolen! LOL She's wearing it now. :) Gotta love the kidlets. LOL I know she will share tho so that's all that matters. :) I loved the card too, all the smiley faces are perfect for me, I sign my name with a smily at the end! LOL I'm sooooooooooooo glad you got my name!!!! Thank You Thank You Thank You for EVERYthing!!!!!!!!!!! :) You rock!!!!

WOOF!!!!

I had little luck with corgi rescue when I lost my first corgi at age 14. Rescues will not adopt herding breeds out to families with children under 12. My DD was 3 at the time!!!

You won't have that problem!!!!!!

I'm also a fan of Halloween. I esp like it when animals are dressed up in weird Halloween costumes. Anyone else here buy those little mini 1 inch rabbits at Hallmark dressed as a mummy or a ghost (this was years ago)?
Love that series but then they stopped.:yoda:

I love Halloween decorations! I'm such a dork. I'm taking a ceramics class this semester (potters wheel... it's so hard! it's NOTHING like the movie Ghost... not sexy at all...) and when we did our bowl assignment I made a spider web bowl and I'm going to use it as a Halloween decoration. It turn out so cool! I made it months ago but I'm still equally excited about it. So much so that I felt obligated to tell that story just now. I told you ladies I was a nerd. :rolleyes1

I love dressing up, I love the costumes, the deocrations, the creepy food,
taking the kids trick or treating ** I am so excited to do it myself this year**
I love the Halloween specials, sometimes even scary movies, IF I am not watching them alone!!

Hi Kerri - I am glad you liked it! It was fun shopping for you! One note: Just in case you didn't notice the little 'foot' that the toe ring was attached to is actually a book mark too. I bought it at UCLA this past weekend. I thought what a clever idea...two gifts in one!

In fact, I barely sent anything Disney to my person.

I love it ALL! Can't get enough. I'm sooooo glad our kids school isn't one of those stuffy ones that have banned Halloween celebrations.
They still do Halloween parties and a costume parade. I love it!

I used to love going to Knotts Scary Farm every year with Ruben. I haven't been in way too long. Wish I could go again, but it will have to wait until the kids are older. Have you ever gone? It's awesome!

Ooooooh, now I'm all excited for Halloween and it's months away! :lmao:

I love that there are so many Halloween fans. YAY! :thumbsup2

I like Christmas but to me, it's also comes with too much pressure. Pressure to make it special, to buy the right gift, and wonder where the money is coming from to buy all the gifts. So that part of it I don't like.

But Halloween is just about dressing up, getting spooked, eating candy and having fun. What's not to like? ;)

Katie, if you read this, check your PMs. Thanks!

My package came this morning! Thank you so much, Steph!!!!!! The dark chocolate with raspberries candy bar is already half gone! Marty grabbed it out of my hand as I was opening the box, so we decided to share!
Also in the box was a green-striped beach towel--my favorite color!, two lime green mini trays, a green bowl with a picture of a monkey in it, and some super-cute note cards!
I love everything! It was very exciting to get the box in the mail, and now I can't wait for the next exchange!
Thanks again Beth, for setting this up!

James and I go. We had a great time the last time we went. We got one of the package deals where we did dinner, got into the park early, tickets, a room for the night, breakfast and a t-shirt. Getting the early entrance made it worth it. We were able to do the rides that were decorated and themed, all the mazes and the shows.

Sounds like the exchange is going smoothly so far :thumbsup2.

I will also be able to use the travel lock, just perfect. She also sent other fun goodies like magnetic clips, cool napkins, a photo book, crossword puzzles, which I will take with me (love crossword puzzles), and then, as if that weren't enough, I also got a dvd about Walt Disney himself!!! ::MickeyMo I'm such a Disney nerd, I love it love it.

Is anyone else getting worried as these great packages are described that yours will totally fall flat, and you receipient is going to thank you just cause they were well brought up?

All of the packages sound so creative. I didn't write a poem, have a theme,tell a story,send a snack.

ARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!! I think I am a total failure!!!

Stop that! I didn't include a snack, and I couldn't find exactly what I was wanting to send, either. However, I hope it is enjoyed by the person I sent it to.
I think this was the first exchange for many of us (it was for me), and I think it will be a lot easier for the next one.

Thanks. I think I enjoy finding new things to fret about!! Type A-squared personality here!!!

All of the packages sound so creative. I didn't write a poem, have a theme,tell a story,send a snack.

I'm sure it will be awesome! I too am a Type A Personality but not quite 'squared' and I had a hard time trying to decide what to buy. Should I buy this or that or that or this??? :confused3 But I had so much fun shopping and I can't wait until the next exchange.

Thank you Laurie (DizNeeLuver)!!!

This is what was in my box:

Ice Cream scoop
Ice Cream bowl
Beach towel
Strawberry Whoppers
Wild Strawberry Crystal Light
Keychain fan
Strawberry color bath scrunchie
Lip smacker strawberry flavor
Paula Dean strawberry candle
Frozen treat maker
LifeSavers wild berries
Water bottle aqua color

all in a Mickey tote bag!!

I love it all! My assistant is SOOOO jealous! (I may have to share some of the LIfeSavers and Whoppers with her!)

She also hand-made a card with Stitch on the front (my fave character) with a poem that said:

A summer exchange
That's sent over the miles
That's fun to receive
and Hopefully bring smiles
It is meant just for you
and not a junk pile
It is sent from a Friend
In true Diva style!

It is SOOOOO cute! Thanks again :wizard:

I'm so glad you liked it!!!! :cool1: The first thing I thought of for summer was strawberries, so I tended to theme that way....... hope you like strawberries.....lol :rotfl:
I'm assuming the candle made it there in one piece? Always worry about sending glass......

I think my exchange Diva will like what I sent, but I sent a card with no poem or any fancy note, my only theme was summer, no stories, no snacks.... hopefully she'll like it. I think you're worrying too much! This is meant to be fun not to impress. I'm pretty sure we're doing this because we all love to give and not receive. It's the thought that counts AmySue you didn't fail! "Cheer up Charlie! Give me a smile. What happened to that smile I used to know?" My package came this morning!

Happy to hear you enjoed the package. I was feeling the same as Amy in hoping that I did a good job in what I sent. This was my first exchange. After seeing what everyone received in their packages, I have lots of ideas for our future exchanges.

No worries about sending. As long as arrangements are made so I know what's going on and don't think someone just forgot, it's all good. Actually we have one more that will go out on Monday.

A cool card? :scared1: I just scrawled a quick note on a random piece of paper with a sharpie....
That's what I used to do too when I did exchanges on the main DIS board. A piece of torn out notebook paper. LOL
But then a Rite Aid near me closed and they had cards on clearance 10 for $1 and that is the only reason I now have cards to send. Otherwise it would be notebook paper all the way baby.

I think so far all the exchanges have been great. I hope everyone has had a good time playing along so far and no one is really stressing about it. :goodvibes

Lots of headstones, wooden crosses, bats, blacklight, and fog machine. All the neighborhood kids love it. I make up goodie bags and stuff them full !!! I spend way too much money on candy !!!:hmghost:That sounds awesome!!! We do something like that too. We decorate our whole front yard. One side is spooky with tombstones and skeletons, and we have a couple fog machines.

The other side is more child friendly with different decorations and a pumpkin patch.

Last year we played really loud music to go with the fog machine and strobe lights, and one of the songs was Thriller. It was so fun to watch the adults, especially the ones around my age, who grew up in the 80's, start dancing to the music when that came on. :rotfl2:

Your goodie bags sound awesome. When we lived in Michigan Halloween there was so neat. There was this one neighborhood in town with streets lined with old Victorian houses. They already look haunted, but then they all get really into it and decorate and plus with all the leaves changing colors and falling, it looks like a movie set. Way cool.

I think one year we need to plan a trip to Salem, Mass. for Halloween. I've always wanted to go there. Or New Orleans and take one of their haunted tours. ;)

:rolleyes1

Yeah, I did the potter's wheel once and thought the same thing. Hah. I love the spider web bowl!

I love, love, love Halloween!! Even more than Christmas!!
I love dressing up, I love the costumes, the deocrations, the creepy food,
taking the kids trick or treating ** I am so excited to do it myself this year**
I love the Halloween specials, sometimes even scary movies, IF I am not watching them alone!!

"creepy food" - I so get that.

I'm excited for the Halloween exchange too! It's always fun :thumbsup2 We used to totally decorate the clinic I worked in every year for Halloween and during clinic we would play Rocky Horror Picture Show and eat popcorn and hand out treats. Loved it!

What fun!

What's not to like? ;)

Ah, yes, you really said it Beth.

:jumping1: I got my package!!! :jumping1:

Omgosh omgosh:dance3:

Thank you, Donna!!!:cloud9:

Donna sent me a box full of treats. She sent me books and I LOVE to read! I haven't read any of them yet, and will really enjoy these. Now to choose which one/s goes on the cruise with me and the long flight to Florida! She also sent me a cool pen, and you're right, Donna, my kitties love it, too. :cat: She also sent Tink tatoos and Tink glitter, which I will wear on the cruise. I love glitter, ha ha.

Thank you so much, Donna, for all the cool gifts. Oh, and the snack disappeared right away. It was so yummy! :flower:

I'm sooo happy you liked it all. The pen is a funny story. I took everything to my box and ship store. They also have a store with little gifts and stationary supplies. I was looking for one last thing to add since I knew there was space and they had these pens that have sort of a long fiber optic "tail" to them, like many strands. Well, the first one I picked didn't light up when you wrote. And the second one. The salesgirl and I tried every pen and found that only the pink and the yellow ones worked - for some reason the other colors were DOA. Anyway, just the kind of goofy last minute add, I thought.

What is weird for me now is that when I go to the store, I am still in the mindset to look for things for you. I have to now turn off my tink radar!
I hope the film is good - the online reviews were good.

Steph, this was my first board exchange too! It was great fun!

Guess what arrived this evening? My package!! :yay:

Fairykin sent me a wonderful box of goodies! Thank you so much!! :goodvibes

Where to start? Well it came in a very well taped box. I mean this thing could have gone through a lake and still come out fine. We did eventually get it open and then my DS4 dove in!

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh138/jengrinold/IMG_2190.jpg

Inside everything was put together so beautifully.

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh138/jengrinold/IMG_2191.jpg

And a seemingly endless box of gifts! Here's a peek all the treasures Dawn got me:

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh138/jengrinold/IMG_2200-1.jpg

There was a lovely note from Dawn (thank you :goodvibes) and I'll try to capture everything that was included (sorry if I miss something):

a shirt
a pitcher and margarita glasses
mini margarita cookies
Tink flip flop pins (so cute :lovestruc)
green mickey head chain (love it!)
Mickey Mouse drink holders
Nivia lip care (my new favorite lip care!)
bubbles
sidewalk chalk (DS already claimed)
"CHILL" tic tacs
eclipse gum
sunflower seeds
dish towl
reusable green bag
Cinderella note pad (I'm allowed to keep the princess stuff for me, says DS ;) )
and a mini fan

WOW!
Thank you SO MUCH for the thoughtful package, so beautifully put together, with such wonderful treats! We really had such a blast tonight opening it. My DS4 was just going through the tissue and streamers for like 30 minutes cheering "it's a party!!" And now I have such nice things to keep for me (though I think my sons did score a few of the items).

Good morning ladies!

To the Diva who sent my package. I received a "sorry we missed you" note in my mailbox. The mailman tried to deliver it on Thursday and since it didn't fit in our mailbox, the mail man is holding it to redeliver. I went online and requested they drop it off at the apartment main office so I can pick it up there. It said it will do it Monday, so Monday I will get my box!!

My package is here (actually got here yesterday but the office was closed by the time I checked the mail) and it is amazing!!!

First of all, Heather sent me a really cute sticker book that Ty and I will get to play with to make different funny faces. Then, there was a super adorable mini backpack/cooler tote that is just perfect for a mama on the go.

Noting my love of all things ice cream, I also got a set of Cold Stone Creamery ice cream dishes that look like waffle cones and are packaged with a set of Jelly Belly jelly beans in ice cream flavors. They look so delicious and I am just waiting for Ty to take a nap 'cause I don't wanna have to share!

If that wasn't enough already, Heather sent me a ton of Disney scrapbooking supplies that I can't wait to play with. And to top it all off, she made me a digital scrapbook of the Diva trip back in March. Everything is so personal and so fantastic. And, her attention to details like Disney stickers on the box and pink & green tissue paper (my favorite combo) made me feel so blessed to have Heather and the rest of you as my friends.

I'm so with Amy Sue in terms of feeling like I could have/should have done so much more to glam up my package that I sent out. As usual the Disney Divas have set the bar high!

THANK YOU Heather!!!:love::love::love:

I loved it--it was all fantastic! And, I realized that I also forgot to mention the Twilight themed sweethearts candies. Where did you find them? I really want to send my sister a box or two. They are uber cute and could be fun to munch on when watching tv (but not with my sister :lmao:)!

O to the M-G!!!! I just got the best package ever! Theresa, I fear you know me a little too well! :rotfl2:

I almost missed the delivery too, because I was too lazy to answer the door! Luckily my mom saw the postman and chased him down for me. Then my mom and dad came in my room and wanted me to open it in front of them...I'm glad I didn't. :rolleyes1

Inside was a pink/white/orange Mickey Mouse towel, which is absolutely perfect because I never get around to buying myself a beach towel and always end up with a boring blue towel.
A very cute Minnie Mouse t-shirt, that I was actually thinking about buying the other week! :thumbsup2
A box of Dove chocolates, which are almost gone!!!
Two magnets that are going straight up onto my wall (I have a wall that is magnetic). One has one of my favorite quotes: "Well behaved women rarely make history." and the other one is freaking hilarious: "A fool and his money are my best friends." :rotfl2:
Tic tacs in the breast cancer container so they are pink too, my favorite color!
Softlips lip balm in Tangerine Temptation - yummy!
Nic's Sticks by OPI in Run Don't Walk. I can't wait to paint my toes!
A copy of Cosmopolitan (UK edition). Of course Cosmo is my favorite magazine! It's the naughty Diva's bible! :worship:
There is another thing that was included, that I'm very excited to try out, but I don't know how DIS friendly it is, so I'll refrain from saying what they are. ;) (This is the item I'm glad my parents weren't around for!)
A list of yummy drink recipes, that I can't wait to try out! Of course I'm going to have to make the "Windy Beach" :goodvibes
And a cute pink Hawaiian tote to carry it all in!!!!

Thank you so so so much Theresa! You just totally made my day and I so can't wait for summer now!!! :yay:

It was the coolest thing ever. I got a collection of CDs. They are the "Disneyland, The first fifty years". I am listening to them right now. I love them!!!! Thank you so much! They are the best. Would you believe I don't have anything like them? I don't think I have one Disney CD to speak of. This has got to be the best gift. James wants to know if we have to take a long road trip now so I can listen to them all.

Last year we played really loud music to go with the fog machine and strobe lights, and one of the songs was Thriller. It was so fun to watch the adults, especially the ones around my age, who grew up in the 80's, start dancing to the music when that came on. :rotfl2:

I'm so glad you like them. I made them from some online CDs that I downloaded quite awhile ago, and they aren't available anymore. They are not the same ones that you can buy in the store. Quite different actually. They are attraction music, background music, the kinds of things you don't really think about while you're at the park. There's 2 different sets, one has 13 and the other has 9 CDs.

Very nice! I know Stacie had a wedding to go to, and since she mentioned it before, I don't think she'd mind if I remind you that your gift from her is in 2 parts! You're only half way there! What fun! :thumbsup2

And I got my package today, well I'm sure it came yesterday but we didn't get the mail until today. It was from Jane!!! And just like the one I sent, it's in 3 parts. She sent a really nice letter to explain it. The first part was a handmade magic wand to keep my family inline!! Oh, wait, she said it's to "encourage" them. Same thing!! And some really cool Disney coasters, like this:

https://www.laughingplacestore.com/images/products/10827L.jpg

The next part is a book that she ordered from Amazon that comes out on June 1, called The Best Summer Drinks: 500 Incredible Cocktail and Appetizer Recipes! I think that's coming with me to Vegas!!

And the other part is something from the Disney store, but no hints!! I'll let you all know when I get it.

Steph--Have a safe and comfy trip. We've had the travel budget frozen at work, so I haven't had to go anywhere lately. I'm sure after a few month I'll want to be able to travel, but for now it's been nice being home.

I swear I'm losing my mind lately? I've been looking everywhere for the thread where I said I made a spiderweb bowl in my wheel throwing class and that making pottery on the potters wheel is nothing like the movie Ghost. Nowhere even close to sexy. Does that sound familiar? I think it had something to do with the topic of "I love Halloween". It was either here or the October mini meet thread, but I'm posting this here. I took a pic of the bowl because it was the last day of class and I brought it home. Yay!

For those of you who care about the artsy fartsy technicality... I waited until it dried enough to carve away and painted on some black slip (wet goopy clay that has black stuff like paint-ish glaze in it) then using a tool I carved away the web. Then it was fired once. I poured white glaze on the inside of the bowl and wiped the excess off with a wet sponge, leaving the glaze only in the cracks. Then it was high fired. :woohoo: I'm pretty pumped about how it turned out!

Hey now.....for your information, I have my own drink books. Quite a few of them actually. So I don't need your's or Stacie's! So there!

:rolleyes1

I just got my package from Amy Sue!!
Here is the list of the goods...

2 ice trays- 1- stars & 1- fish-- so I can keep my raspberry vodka nice & chilly this summer
princess sandwich bags - so I can take a healthy lunch to work
Umbrella picks so I can pretend I am somewhere sunny & tropical! :cool1:
Glow sticks
Skydiving Donald Duck :thumbsup2
Nail art for my toes & fingers
emery board
no mistakes manicure clean up pen
Double duty top coat to keep my toes & fingers shiny!
Gold nail art pen
pinkish red nail polish!
mickey head cutouts in the baggie!
And a super cute blue Mickey tote bag!!

Thanks Amy Sue I love it all!
Oh and a cute little note from AS.

I can't wait to paint my nails!!

Sounds like fun (and mani/pedi) times!!!

Same here, I can't wait!

Morning ladies! I wore my new shirt (which fit just perfectly after washing and much stretching -- I'm flattered Dawn thinks me so skinny ;) ) and had orange juice from my new pitcher this morning. I'm enjoying all my new treats! :goodvibes

Small? :lmao:
I got an xtra large in that style shirt during the ladies trip (the tshirt style...it was a totally different looking shirt).

When I put the medium tshirt on my DH told me I had "stuff" sticking out in the front and the back. Not good. Anyway, I'm determined to be able to wear the shirt and purchased one of those stretchy band exercise things and a video and did a workout on my "front" and my "back" and we'll see if I can't trim up a bit. There's no hiding in this thing. Need to minimize the "stuff." :rotfl:

Yesterday DBF and I were goofing around on facebook, and he kinda pinched at my "chub" around my waist. I pulled away, and he was all "why did you do that? I know you don't like that part of you, but I do." He's a sweetie and loves me even though I got a giant muffin top.

Stacie, you know we LOVE you :flower3: I'd never tease you if I didn't :thumbsup2

Thanks! :thumbsup2

He sounds so nice. My DH is the same - I'm not the most comfortable with my body and I am nowhere near the same size as when we were married (blame it on the 9 pounds 15 ounces baby - yes, he is 13 now, but still that's my story ;)) but he loves me and thinks I'm beautiful, so it's all good!

Oh I am the same way. I let everyone know that I am still carrying the baby weight from when I was preggers. But my baby is 13!!

Yay for good guys :woohoo:

Yeah, he is a good guy. I'm gonna keep him.

Yay! :yay: I'm glad it got to you safely. And I'm even more happy that you liked it! :cheer2: Was the UPS guy cute? That would've been a total added bonus! :thumbsup2

Thats always an added bonus. I once dated a UPS guy just to say I dated a UPS guy. ;)

By the way, I'm laughing my butt off about the Mickey head I drew on the box, because I really thought it was more even then that, but looking at the picture I have no idea what I was thinking. :rotfl2:

Maybe you kept some of the jello shot stuff for yourself? :confused3

I got it safely and it was so worth the wait. I LOVE IT ALL! I feel like I SCORED majorly with this exchange! No the UPS guy wasn't cute. Well, he wasn't ugs, but he wasn't my type. I'd say he was about 5'4" - 5'5" in the 45ish range and I'm about 5'9" in the 24-25ish range. He was kinda rough looking? He was super nice though! We talked about the weather. What else is new?! I'm pretty sure I started it.

By the way, I'm laughing my butt off about the Mickey head I drew on the box, because I really thought it was more even then that, but looking at the picture I have no idea what I was thinking. :rotfl2:

No way! At second glance I can totally see it! I typically have a "non-disboard appropraite" mindset, well not typically I'd say... always, and it completely escaped me this time. :rotfl2: (... message to be continued)

Maybe you had one too many glasses of wine before you drew the mickey http://bestsmileys.com/drinking/21.gif.

(... continuation) I suppose if I were to have received the package *ahem* :lmao: after my cinco de mayo margarita tonight I would have noticed differently. :rotfl:

The gifts you picked were great though :thumbsup2.

Agreed! :thumbsup2

I once dated a UPS guy just to say I dated a UPS guy. ;)

Maybe you kept some of the jello shot stuff for yourself? :confused3

That's really funny about the UPS guy thing! I can only imagine the innuendos  and as far as the Jell-o shots are concerned... oh I'm sure there are more where that came from! :cool1:

Amy Sue~ I am using my bag to take my homework to work in!
In the summer I am using it to take my magazines and stuff to the pool!!
I am so excited to use my nail polish.
I have the ice trays in the freezer!!

Deb,

I am glad you liked your gift. It had a beach towel to go with it, (kind of since what goes with that random pile of stuff?) but the evil PO employee wouldn't accept the box when it was chubby!!! So, I have a new beach towel. I really liked the tote bag, but then worried it was redundant since we had just had a tote exchange!!!!

Make your toes fancy!!!

No, no..I LIKE it like that. Makes it look organic. Like maybe it just happened. I knew I had begun to convert my DH when he sent me a digital photo of a hidden Mickey oil spot he found in the work parking lot. Those ones that just "happen" are the best. :thumbsup2

I'd say he was about 5'4" - 5'5" in the 45ish range and I'm about 5'9" in the 24-25ish range. He was kinda rough looking? He was super nice though! We talked about the weather. What else is new?! I'm pretty sure I started it.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party goods: Tablecover, plates, napkins & cups
Perfect timing as the twins birthday is in 2 weeks!!!!!!!! They love this show & Mickey Mouse! :earboy2:

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a312/laemee/May003.jpg

Next were 2 green towels with Flamingos on them (so cute!), 2 green margarita glasses (only thing missing is the margarita......lol) & a popsicle tray (a very nice one....I love that the colored bases/sticks snap onto the tray)

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a312/laemee/May004.jpg

Then I got a nice blue bucket (for my family that will be perfect for chips!) & a pool floatie......looks very relaxing!!

Sometimes you have to dig for them, though; I think it was Heather who was digging for one in March.

Yes and me. I couldn't find any. So then some little boys dug in there and found them and handed them to me!

You mean the one that looks kind of like a cookie cutter outline?? Those are also by the registers and are keychains :thumbsup2

Yes, like Theresa said, they are also up near the registers. The last time I found lots of them, was in that store across from the Jungle cruise.

Beth, if you could give me a head's up as to when I should expect my package from my person, that would help. I get these at my post office box and I've been making a special trip there the last couple of days thinking since most of the packages are arriving, it must be time. But if you know it was mailed late, it would help me. Thx.

It's at Disneyshopping.com. I also thought it was cute, so I had to go order one. It's my Mothers Day gift to myself ;).

Super cute!!! If I hadn't already ordered myself a couple of super cute things from Alloy I'd be all over it...but I do want it so I'm probably going to go ahead and get it anyway! lol

I'm super excited because I just made ressies at http://www.mariamariarestaurants.com/ for Saturday, an early Mother's Day brunch with my girls and DBFs parents. I love it when the owners call you and say "anything you want, you tell me when you want to eat and you will have a table." and then "take my cell phone number and put it in your phone, then ANYtime you need ANYthing, no matter how last minute you call ME and I will make it happen!" It will take more organizing on my part, but it will be worth it to keep it fresh and new. :yay:

Inside that was a ginormous pink (my favorite color) beach towel. Super perfect because I just bought a new swim suit yesterday! :woohoo:

OMG, I saw that towel at Target and I wanted it soooooo bad!!! I almost got it but resisted as I'm trying to stop unnecessary spending.
But man, is that ever cute. I am a huge flip flop fan so that's why I love it.
