It's our first family vacation w/ my DS8 and DD5 to Disney, and I am worried about which TS to get an ADR for... we are going to the parks in the mornings, nap/swim lunchtime, and plan on going back to the parks in the evening. I want to have some ADR's for the week (8/8- 8/15), so I have 7 TS to use--- But I don't want to over-plan if that's possible! I want hubby to enjoy the meals, as he LOVES steak, but want the kids not to be too bored or tired... Any other moms KWIM?????

Here are some I was thinking about:

Coral Reef- dinner
1900 Park Fare- dinner
Chef Mickey's- bfast
Yachtsman- dinner

I thought about these, but don't know if they will enjoy them as much:

Boma
LeCellier
Teppan Edo (since we have tons of Japanese steakhouses around and don't think they will enjoy it- long dinner and the fire may scare DD5)

PLEASE give me your advice... all you veterans!!!!

My kids love Sci Fi, Coral Reef, Tony's TownSquare, and Ohana (prefer breakfast...dinner is great, but tooooo much food for us!) Kona is very good too, but there is no big "theme" if that is what you're looking for! Have fun planning!

Are you interested in character dining?? My kiddos LOVE:love: dining with the characters so we have planned 5 meals with characters while we are there in July. Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, Tusker House breakfast, and Princess Storybook. Buffets tend to work well for us as we can get them something to eat right away instead of waiting for the order to come. Just my personal thoughts!! :)

I would plan Akershus for lunch one day. Maybe the middle of the trip you could have a lazy morning at your resort and then go in for an early (11:30) lunch. The kids might enjoy a morning that they don't have to get up and go!

I would also do Crystal Palace for dinner.

The food at both of these are delicious and the character interaction is great!

My kids love WCC in Wilderness lodge, fun and we like that kind of down home food. Also we always have a really nice break in AK and a good meal at Yak and Yeti, and DH loves CP food and dds love Pooh
