Not just for Diz, but any general rental for useage....

I find the rates of the big companies online to be VERY high ($400-600 per day, often a milage limit, and then add gas prices?). I know thousands of folks buy nice RV's, only to have them sit in the driveway or storage area for 90% of the year. I know of websites where owners of timeshares rent their weeks out .. but I have not found a website where owners of RV's cheaply rent out time in their RV's. Anyone have any insights? I think it would be great to be able to rent one from an owner for a week here or there. Help them to pay the monthly payment and help me have a nice vacation. Thoughts?

Try getrv.com. They seem expensive to me but it might be what you are looking for.

Wow. I can't believe that folks are actually paying that kind of money to rent an RV. Looking at Dallas area rentals I saw 40' diesel pushers anywhere from $200/day to $950/day :scared1:. The lower end would definitely be worth considering, but $1k/day, sheesh. It better include all food, fuel, camping fees, etc. :rotfl2:

I won't list my camper on their site because I think the rates are crazy! How can people afford to pay that?
