How much are soft drinks? Beer? Mixed drinks and the soda mugs? If you aren't a heavy soda drinker, is the mug worth it since you may drink more on the ship than usual?

soda mugs run you five dollars a day times the number of days you are on a cruise.
The daily drink special is around 3.50. drinks in souvenier glasses at the sailaway party were 6.50. sorry don't know about the beer.
The mug is not worth it for me as I don't drink soda. However my husband and son saved us a bundle by using them. AAA gave us three free refillable mugs. They are nice, and make good souveniers.

Regular cocktails were $4.50 + 15% Autogratuity, but who cares? I'm on vacation ;)

Without the mug soda's are $1.50 per soda PLUS an automatic gratuity of 15%. If you will be drinking more than 3 soda's a day then the mug is a good value at $35 for the 7 day cruise. Plus it makes a nice souvenier. But remember that soda's are always free in the dining rooms during meal times.

I think beer ran about $3.00-$3.50 depending on brand plus gratuity. Soda only available for free at dinner, fruit punch and iced tea available at lunch.

Where do you go to refill the soda mugs? Is it convenient or a hassle?
Soda is also free for breakfast and lunch in the dining room.
