Possible Universal meet on 6/23!

For those who will be in the area, let's have a meet! I will be at Disney-MGM on 6/22 with the Florida Coaster Club. I was planning on a WDW meet on 6/23, but there were no takers. :( I know some of you will be at Universal during the weekend, so let's meet! MIB9etc. and MsDisney live there. I think CPM and Robin will be there too. Who else will join our happy bunch?

If you don't have park tickets, we can set up a Mythos "meet and eat" ressie. If you leave a credit card inprint at Guest Relations, you can get into the park to eat at Mythos for 2 hours. I wouldn't try to ride the Hulk, though, within those two hours. Invariably, something will go wrong and your 2 hour time period will expire. Then your credit card will be charged for a full day's admission. Besides, it takes around 2 hours to eat anyway.

So if you can come, please reply to this post. We will set up meet times and such when we know how many are coming.

We can have lots of fun! See CPM stand up in Spider-Man and Dueling Dragons! See Robin run after Spider-Man all day! See me wear the torilla soup! See a MsDisney drink-off at the Backwater Bar! :)

Mythos is in the Lost Continent. As for a menu, it keeps on changing, but some dude here known as MIB9etc. can get you the 411.

BTW, if you don't want to eat at Mythos, that's OK. We can meet in the morning and do stuff. If you want to eat somewhere else, you can go your own way.

No luck on Priceline that weekend. RPH is full that weekend also. We just reserved RPH for the $99 rate that following weekend for 3 nights. Not used to paying over $30 for a hotel, but all the postings about this place are making it difficult not to try it out. Sounds like a deal for FOTL access and the fancy pool.

Same here... I think I meet you guys before lunch and go elsewhere for a couple hours(and meet back up somewhere?) or come after you guys eat. I'll PM you Barry when I know for sure...

I know how the young kids feel not having money, I used to be like them growing up. Some of the things on the menu are not that expensive and taste great. Last time I was there, I had "It's a wrap", it's glazed chicken in a green tortilla shell. It only costs like $7. I think they also have a Mythos burger for $7. I drink water with my meal to take a break from soda. It's funny because now that I'm 38, I can afford the fancy stuff, but like the sandwiches better.
If you can get your parents to give you $10, that will be enough.

Ok, Barry, count us in. Can we do lunch at around 1:00? That would give us enough time to get from WDW over to PB. I can pick up another Unversal ticket for the extra day and that way we can hang around after lunch, too. I was still thinking about the AP. If we're going to try a IOA day during DIS-CON, it would make sense for me to get the AP and let Bill use the left over tickets from last year. :confused: Decisions, decisions!:rolleyes:

Michael's the world's biggest 9yo! He's almost 5 feet tall! He LOVES the JPRA so I'm sure he can talk him into it!

We spoke to Skip (one of the managers) yesterday and he's got us all fixed up with the front room from 1-3:30 or so...with Keiren, of course.
