Great picture, thanks for posting. A reminder that life is too short. I never met Bob but I know if I ever did, I would consider him a friend. Belated congratulations to you and Julie. Make sure you tell your son Bawb stories as an example of someone who embraced life.

Thanks for sharing that photo of Bob, Corey. It really makes me wish I could have met him personally.
That must have been the opening of Aquatica. I can see the tubes of the water slides in the dolphin tank.

Great pic Corey. It reminds me of just how much I miss him. Thanks for sharing with us.
I never met Bob but I know if I ever did, I would consider him a friend.
Ditto. Many have said this before but, I still can't fully explain how the passing of someone I never met had such an effect on me. I suspect it may have been the Bob I (we) see in me (us). He is missed.

I feel the same way. I started tearing up just reading this thread, I've given up trying to explain (even to myself), how someone I listened to on a Podcast but only met once, could have such an impact on my life.
My life is enriched by having known him.

Me too, I've just accepted that it's unexplainable. (is that a word?)
After seeing Corey's picture I listened to the Bawb Memorial show...at the end I cried just like I did that awful day last year when I read Pete's post. I think it's such a tribute to him that people were so effected.

Thank you for thinking of us all and sharing that with us, Corey. :grouphug:
I just caught on to the show this past January and I've been going through all of the old shows in order. We went to WDW about a month ago and at that point I was getting up to the shows when Bob passed and the Memorial show. I had been skirting around listening to it because I had become such a huge fan of his and there are so many qualities of his that remind me of my dad (who I am very close to) that I wasn't sure if I could handle it. Especially knowing that it was coming. On the plane trip back to CA I decided to brave it and listen. I was so touched by all of the stories that I just couldn't hold back the tears. You know that Bob was a truly remarkable person to have touched so many people, even after his passing. Hearing the comraderie that you all had together when he was on the show, and the genuine love for him after he was gone, I can't think of the right word to describe it. He will not soon be forgotten, that's for sure.
