DH and I toured about 3 weeks ago. We decided to go for it and buy 200 points at AKV! DH spoke to our guide on Friday to get everything rolling and we recieved our giant box of DVC stuff via Fedex today. It has all the paperwork we have to sign and our member #'s and some other goodies in it too.

That means the financing has been approved, correct? There's no reason it wouldn't be approved but I always get nervous waiting for financial approvals!!

Just sign them and them send them back - you're good to go.

If there were a problem, they would have let you know before sending out the docs. Congrats and Welcome Home!

Contact your Guide with any questions that you might have. That's what you are paying them for.

Auctually we bought in last Spetember whiel we were on the property. we signed everything there (paer after paper after paper), did the down payment, got our member cards, etc and came home.

But it took until Dec for our financing to go through.

Our guide was able to tell us if we were approved for standard or preferred financing before he sent us the box of docs. We signed everything & sent back but I did get a letter, phone call from the credit/finance dept about questions regarding dh's report (all was cleared up but report hadn't updated) so I had to email her copies of a few things before it was actually approved for real so things can still come up even after you send in paperwork.

Hey jerseygal, my wife and i also are using our developer points to visit Grand Californian Hotel. It also will be our first time to California. We are going in August staying concierge. My wife reserved a rental car at a lower price then Disney transportation. Hopefully we will visit LA and a beach.
